Lords Of Shadow PS3 Patched Today
Castlevania: Lords of ShadowCastlevania: Lords of Shadow is a great game. Now, it'll be even better for PlayStation 3 owners.
Today, Konami has announced a patch for their recently released title: it's designed to "help resolve the save game issues related to user interaction with certain controller buttons (PlayStation button and Select), or disconnection of the controller while the auto-save icon is on-screen." The patch will also provide players with a few cosmetic upgrades, like letting the loading screen text scroll down, for instance. Right now, this patch is only available for the PS3 version; an update for the Xbox 360 version will arrive shortly. In what they describe as a "radical re-imagining of the vastly popular series," Mercury Steam's Lords of Shadow features the hero Gabriel Belmont, who must defeat the evil hordes to unite the pieces of "The God Mask." The game includes some stellar voice work; Robert Carlyle (Gabriel) and Sir Patrick Stewart (Zobek) lead the professional charge. But if you've been having some difficulty with the problem the patch fixes, you'll definitely want to boot up the game today.
We've also heard the developer in question is already hard at work on a follow-up, which should come as good news to fans of Lords of Shadow. Hopefully, more news on that will arrive soon.

It still seems the game has a few bugs in it. After completing Chapter 6(?) last night a cutscene initialized but the chapter book overlaid in front of it. Basically, I could hear the audio, and people talking but I could not see the on-screen events.
Another great bug/glitch is in the graveyard just when you're introduced to the Ghouls for the first time. On one of the statues you use to cover the ghoul hole if you stand near (I think behind it; I can't remember) but you can get Patrick Stewart to infinitely repeat a single line. It's pretty hilarious because of how fast and without in-between pause he jammers off the line. It goes something like, "Gabriell we need to get in front of it and pull it down over the hole/Gabriel we need to get in front of it and pull it down over the hole/Gabriel....." And it will go on forever until you move away... hehe

The graveyard scene can be funny even without the glitches (of which I haven't encountered any so far).
