Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Golden
Assassin's Creed II is one of our absolute favorites of the generation and all indications are that next month's new installment will rule.
Yep, our expectations our high, and there's no stopping it now. Today, Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has gone gold for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will hit store shelves on November 16, one week after the mega-blockbuster Call of Duty: Black Ops drops. But Ubisoft shouldn't be worried; same thing happened last year in regards to Modern Warfare 2 and ACII, and the latter ended up selling over 8 million units. Brotherhood will also be the first title in the series to offer multiplayer, although it's interesting that the press release reminds everyone that the addition will not impact the single-player experience:
"The critically acclaimed single-player experience of Assassin's Creed is back and better than ever as Ezio returns for an epic struggle against the powerful Templar Order. Offering more single-player gameplay than Assassin's Creed II, players now play as a legendary Master Assassin, and journey into Italy's greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy."
And of course, that multiplayer ought to be fantastic, too. Awarded Best Multiplayer Game at E3 by the Game Critics organization, players can select from "a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques." Said Sebastien Puel, executive producer at Ubisoft Montreal:
"Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is the largest and most ambitious title we have ever created. Not only will players get a fully robust and upgraded single-player game that is larger than Assassin's Creed II, but an award winning multiplayer component as well. Brotherhood is the biggest Assassin's experience we have ever created."
For more, head on over to the franchise's official site. What's our most anticipated game of November...? Why, it's right here, of course...now that Gran Turismo 5 may not see the light of day next month.

How can you survive with no internet connection? Dude it's like everything, it's like having music in an iPod but no earphones. ( You cant hear your music with no earphones on an iPod, everyone knows that )
You need your internet connections dude, you will love your Ps3 more. Yea sure some games are amazing in SP, but im pretty sure even anyone can get bored of going through Uncharted 2 - 3, 4, 5 times. SP get boring after a while, can be sooner or later but sooner or later your eventually going to get bored.
I advice you to get the other 60% of your Ps3!!! Heck i'll even add you ass a buddy. :) SCREW IT I'LL ADD EVERYONE ( Exept Jawknee he's an a**hole ) Im kidding with you Jawknee, for the record, GTA IV ain't even the best game ever. There is none. I just like making old men get mad for no reason.
Anyway get your internet connection, Lawless. You definitly need it.

Well, for ages we were unable to get a broadband connection because we're out in the sticks, and nowadays I just sort of want to spite Telstra for not letting us have it earlier. They're still the only ones offering it at our residence though. Ugh... can't stand their customer service. Bunch of... no I won't get racist.
@KillaTequila,
Well, yeah, I know that it's impossible to get the same longevity and experience out of a game without giving into the multiplayer experience, but if I'm being completely honest, I think that I already spend way too much time playing, and going online will only compound that... addiction. I hesitate to use that word, but it is the closest I can think of.
Besides, there are more than enough interesting, intriguing and engaging single player experiences released throughout the year to leave some firmly on the backlog, and going online would only serve to further increase that backlog. Don't get me wrong, I have played GTAIV, Burnout: Paradise and R:FoM online, and thoroughly enjoyed doing so for all three, but yeah, not really my thing.
Peace.

just hope they tweaked the controls, and allowed us to execute more enemies from larger distances.
one thing that really bugged me with AC2 is you could be directly above a enemy but it wont let you drop down and execute him.
or that you have to be literally 2cms away to execute someone, i wish they had a ability to select a enemy than have ezio automatically print up to them, leap onto there back and put a cold stiff one into them!
