PSXE Blue PS3 Giveaway: Happy Winner Receives Prize
Yep, a one-of-a-kind blue PlayStation 3 is in the hands of a lucky winner.
So many participated and one finally had to win. That person was Kim G., who has received our prize: a PS3 Slim featuring a beautiful blue sheen. And because she was nice enough send along a picture of her son holding the prize - hey, that there is MAG in the background - she'll also receive a brand new copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops when it arrives (the game was her choice). To check on the final update and see the picture, visit our giveaway page. Now, don't you wish you had a professionally-colored PS3? The question is, what should we give away next...? Well, we haven't really decided but I can tell you I should have a few copies of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit to hand out, along with some Hadouken albums; these courtesy of EA for conducting that interview. But don't worry because it won't end there; we'll always find ways to hand out goodies to loyal readers.
But if anyone has any ideas, feel free to let us know. Just bear in mind that gigantic entertainment centers with 60" HDTVs and the like might be a little out of the realm of possibility...

Like seriously though I'm usually good about losing gracefully but I would have much rather seen this PS3 go to someone who actually posts on the site, who will actually appreciate it probably so much more.
I'm sorry for this little rant that many of you may not agree with but its how I feel.
Maybe have an activity based cut off for the next comment like an average of 5 posts per month since star of membership? Or something along those lines thats relatively easy for all those actually part of the psxextreme community to be able to participate in.
It's worth consideration.

Not positive, but I'd say they probably had ColorWare do the colorization.
To do a PS3, they're expensive but their work is great. The price starts at $140 & goes up.
And you even can buy brand new consoles already colorized by them(just call & set up the color scheme you want.
Their 2-tone orange & white Creamsicle PS3 looks damned awesome.
You can go to the site & play around with their color scheme template to see what color designs that you pick would look the best.
You can also choose either a gloss finish, or a more subtle satin finish, & plus, either solid colors or metallic colors too.
BTW, they also do extra controllers, plus all other different kinds of electronics too.
Check out their site & all the products they colorize here.....

Or just leave the smaller stuff for those fly-by-night commenters who only come in to try & get a freebie & then we never hear from them again after the contest is drawn(cough**like most of those who already won something big**cough).
A new idea might be for PSXE to purchase 2 tickets some of the major gaming expo's in different regions, and have the gamers from only that region put their names on a list, which PSXE can randomly pull a name from. That way, at somebody from all those different regions can have a shot at a great prize too.
For myself, heck, since I never win anything from anywhere, I'd love to just win one of those NFS:Hot Pursuit games, the demo was so much fun
(Ha, I'm still trying to get my Crown Vicky's time down & I've got it down to 2.20.99 so far)
