Mindjack Taking Control Of US Store Shelves In January
It's one of the more interesting concepts we've seen, and could prove to be a highly entertaining experience.
Today, Square-Enix has announced the release date for Mindjack, FeelPlus Inc.'s third-person shooter with a unique twist; it'll arrive in North America for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 18, 2011. The game boasts cooperative gameplay via mind control and "other incredible surprises" and most importantly, it seems to "blur the line between traditional single- and multi-player gameplay." The idea is that unmanned NPCs can, at any given moment, transform into human-controlled allies or enemies. The time is 2031 and we will play as Jim Corbijn, a field agent with the Federal Intelligence Agency's elite "Direction Intervention Force." The slick sci-fi theme, coupled with futuristic technology - of which mind-hacking is a part - is compelling.
Players hooked to the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live will seamlessly drop into other single-player experiences and assume the part of an NPC, which turns the game into a really interesting blend. We'll just have to see how well the idea works; it certainly holds promise.

This game does sound interesting, very interesting. But Sony just has me to busy for to long period of a time.

WTF?
oooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
besides world domination attempts, this actually looks interesting.
not sure it would work, but it is at least intriguing which is less than i can say about 99% of other games!
nice to see a developer trying to stray away from the heard, instead of following them off the cliff!
