The Honorable Route In New Vegas: No Killing Ever
You may have already seen this story on other sites; it's because as gamers ourselves, journalists and critics are always amazed at...well, amazing gaming feats.
Okay, so how's it going with Fallout: New Vegas? How many people have you killed thus far? Did you kill somebody in the first ten minutes? Have you been trying to abstain but you just can't help yourself every now and then? Well, meet the person who finished the entire game without taking a single solitary life: it's Water_Wendi, who posted a screenshot of his final stats over at the NeoGAF forums. As you can see, zero people and zero creatures were killed during the whole quest...and that's just insane. Fallout has never been my thing but it's not difficult to understand how hard this must be...so who wants to give it a try? Maybe the designers should add a special Trophy for such an accomplishment. Hey, if one person can do it, others can too, right? We're just not sure who will be able to suppress the urge for so long; isn't it against standard gamer instinct, or something?
Well, anyhow, that's worth some attention. Anybody do anything extra special in New Vegas we should know about?

The game is a bit of a let down and kinda buggy but I'm still addicted. It doesn't have that Fallout 3 magic, but it's pretty close.
Ultimately though, as I am taking the hero route as best I can in most instances, I can tell you the game is more fun when you create mayhem versus talking your way through and negotiation and blackmailing. The problem with that is even just killing some random dude who had the balls to tell me to F off automatically made me fail a mission and I want to do as many missions as possible so I have to be fairly nice.
I'd say this guy's playthrough was probably boring and he stayed away from side quests.

the honorable route is just too hard to do though for me, my goodness how can you not shoot a creature that comes after you?! there are bean bag rounds for the 12 gauge shotgun though so, it is possible...
but that is just amazing...

It's the discovery that makes Fallout for me. Wandering around finding stuff, unwrap new, funny stories along the way. Man I love these kinda games.

The only games I have that don't have killing, are Soul Calibur 3&4, Battle Arena Toshinden, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Ehrgeiz, and Yugioh: Forbidden Memories (And possibly LBP, but I'm not sure about that one...).
So basically two PS3 fighters, 3 Psone fighters, and an old Psone card game... out of nearly a hundred titles from this generation and the two before it.
For not killing anything you getz mad props!

One by force - kill 'em
One by stealth - sneak by, pickpocket or lockpick
One by talking - speech, charisma, intelligence
Seeing that the guys made FNV are part of the team that made the original Fallouts its not that surprising its possible to beat the game without a kill.
Having played FNV on the other hand, makes this a great feat! Props!

The craptastic guys who made Alpha Protocal, couldn't finish an Alien RPG. others like were extremely bug ridden like Kotor 2. Neverwinter 2 the list goes on.
Seriously I have NOT played a game by these guys which has been polished and well designed.
