New L.A. Noire Trailer Hits This Week
L.A. Noire remains shrouded in mystery but perhaps by week's end, we'll have more info and - dare we hope? - a release date.
Rockstar has often confirmed and reconfirmed that developer Team Bondi continues to slave away on L.A. Noire. Originally exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and now a multiplatform project (as far as we know), the game is an ambitious crime drama that makes us hope for a cross between Mafia and Heavy Rain. We only say the latter because of that very cool interrogation element and the supposedly cutting-edge Motion Scan for characters. But after hearing it would arrive later in 2010, the game currently holds an estimated launch date of "Q2 2011" and we're getting a tad impatient... Have no fear, though, as Rockstar has announced that a new trailer for the long-anticipated title will hit this week! As of Thursday, the video will debut at the Rockstar Newswire, and then will be viewable in high-definition at "an updated L.A. Noire site and the Videos section of the Rockstar Games site." Okay, so it's definitely coming. They've promised us that.
But there's only one thing we want from that trailer: actual gameplay footage. We're not entirely sure how long the game has been in development, but perhaps "too long" is a fair assessment. At the same time, we're very intrigued by the game's potential...

the fact that its being made literally minutes away from my doorstep does not help either!
better graphics than GOW3, the worlds most advanced animation system, what more could you ask for?
as long as the detective part stands up, we might have a new contender for GOTY!
as much as im looking forward to this, and want new info on it i would much rather info on agent!
or at least max payne 3.
only R* could announce 3 games in the space of a year or so, and release no info on either of them for ages!
i thought you were suppose to announce a game, shot it off than announce a new one.
not announce a game, announce a new game, announce a new game than maybe show one of them off.
who the hell do they thing they are?
$E?
