White Knight Chronicles 2: New Content Plans And Info

Hey, want to see what you're missing? Oh, take heart; a lot of this stuff might be included in the box when White Knight Chronicles 2 arrives in the US.

Level-5 will continue to build upon the already solid foundation by adding plenty more content in the coming months. In addition to all new quests, Famitsu has offered even more details (as reported by Andriasang) concerning the fresh content. Included in the enhancement and improvement plans: new quest types that let you and your friends play without bothering about time, guild rank, level, etc., new Georama Parts and Statues, the all-new Guild System, and more. The extra information comes as good news to role-playing fans who really enjoyed the original; the sequel has been judged by Japanese critics to be even bigger and better than the first title. Also, there are now hints that WKC2 may be available in North America by early spring or even late winter, although nothing is concrete. What is fair to assume, however, is that Level-5 will ship the game to this region with a lot of these planned additions.  It ought to be quite the package.

We just need an American release date, that's all. JRPGs are becoming few and far between these days, ya know.

Best ps3 jrpg to date.

It really is a gem. I just can't wait to see where the story goes next. I'm so so SO intrigued by Caesar. What a cool character...

I also can't say enough about how satisfying the online component of the game is. So optional yet so good whenever one wants to partake in it.

Indeed. My only issue with the online element is that it sucks up far too much time and grinding in order to level up.

Will the game be bundled with the prequel (updated with the sequels graphics engine) as previously mentioned?

If it really does release in late winter then I seriously have to reorganize my CNY list.

Yes!!! Late Winter/early Spring would be beautiful...

I'm still digging through this game and all it has to offer. Beat the game and all but I love the world of WKC....

Replaying it is actually really fun and the characters are all solid.

Anyway WKC2 looks to be way better, really looking forward to it.

I never actually beat the first game, although I got very very close. I'm tempted to just sell of my first copy, and wait until this arrives and play through the first one again since it comes packaged with the second game. I will certainly buy this, not sure if D1P though. It will depend what games release around it.

Arg, can't wait. This is the spiritual successor to FFXII. It wasn't perfect, but bordered on the best we can get in the era of JRPG murder. I have high hoped for this sequel.

I ended up passing on the 1rst one since by the time it actually came out it didn't really look better than dragon age.
But this following-through on the free enhanced original is enough to get me somewhat excited for it again.
Maybe a preorder if any retailers offer icing on the cake.

Geez, guild rank grinding, how long does it take to go from guild rank 1 to guild rank15? Why limit the rebirthing to 3 to 4 times. You can rebirth as many times as you want, but after that, you don't get any more points.
You literally have to find the maximum amount of players just to raise your guild rank on quests, and or beg someone of a higher rank to assist you.

oh, well.

White Knight Chronicles was one of my favorites games on ps3 easily. Loved it and can't wait for this one.

Will be proud to own the original U.S. release and the bundled remodel from the release of WKC 2. Can't wait to play it again even tho I've already beaten it 3 times.

All I ask for is streamlining the menus. Like for example making a "Magic" sub-menu (similar to the existing "Items" one), so that I on't waste slots on magic. And also offering explanations to which stats do what. Otherwise the game is really good.

Forgot to add, that they should ramp up the difficulty as well, it's a bit on the easy side.

Hmm my comment didn't post... anyways to sum it up... SWEEEEEEET! And I have to agree with thehighlanders first post in that the game can't arrive soon enough for me. Hopefully though when it says maybe and early spring arrival or late winter it means late THIS winter or early NEXT spring and not early next spring or late next winter. Can't wait for this game as it sounds more and more epic each time I read about it. This will most likely be my very first preorder. Here's hoping we get this epic awesomeness soon.
