New Patch Gives The Fight Added "Transparency"
The Fight: Lights Out isn't getting the best reviews, but perhaps a new patch from the developer will help.
It won't address all the problems critics have cited but it might offer a little extra incentive to play the Move-oriented brawler: according to iWaggle3D, designer Coldwood Interactive has quickly responded to some criticism and prepared a patch, which will be released soon. This update will give players the option to enable transparency on their chosen virtual fighter, which might assist in improving visibility. In truth, such a feature was actually considered during development but was ditched because it dragged the performance down, but it seems they've fixed that issue. Even with the patch, the game will still run at 60 frames per second so you shouldn't worry. Also, the update will feature a few more little tweaks and adjustments but we won't learn the specifics until next week. We're still not sure if The Fight: Lights Out is worth the price of admission but if the developer can continue to support it, the experience might become more stable and invigorating.
As for PSXE, we'll try to get you a review, but no promises. The priority list must be arranged for the coming weeks.

tried this out when they were showing off move a few months ago, almost stopped me from buying it the controls were so crap!
sony was touting 1:1 motion capture, but everytime i threw a punch the character would not react.
he controlled like a 12 year old, after 6 boxes of wine!

You need to throw real punches. If you fight like a spaz in real life, don't bother with this game, you'll hate it. If you know how to throw a proper punch, this game will be your newest and most used piece of exercise equipment

It's funny how a wrestler can look so smooth and bad ass taking someone down, but on the other hand can look so sloppy and weak when throwing a punch (if they're not used to the motion). They just don't plant their feet right and don't use the proper muscles and stance.

In The Fight, you start with an "unfit" fighter and you have to spend some time into making him fit, but once he is the responsiveness and fun you get out of the game is amazing! Problem is, alot of people like Ben for instance, haven't had the opportunity to try it for longer. And when the reviewers did the reviews of the game no one knew that you HAD to go to the gym to enjoy it. While I think it's a mistake to make the fighter so unfit in the beginning, I don't think it merits the bad reviews.

It's always going to look a bit wierd since the movements arent pre-scripted. Makes it look awkward, but it's damn fun to play.
