Mass Effect 3 Teaser At Spike VGAs?
Mass Effect 2 will finally come to the PlayStation 3 with a bunch of extra content in January, so it seems almost inevitable that Mass Effect 3 will also be available for the PS3...and hopefully, at the same time as other versions.
BioWare and EA haven't confirmed anything just yet, but ME3 for the PS3 may have been outed by SCEE Russia. According to Ripten citing a recent Tweet, BioWare will provide fans with a teaser trailer of the upcoming third installment at this year's Spike VGA Awards, which takes place on December 11. The rough translation from Russian is as follows:
"“Company BioWare for VideoGameAwards showed a teaser, in which we can see the first footage MassEffect 3."
There's no mention of platforms but as SCEE Russia makes the comment, one would have to make the obvious assumption. This is in addition to BioWare boss Ray Muzyka saying that ME3 on PS3 "makes sense" and of course, the common trend of third-party exclusives going multiplatform this generation. BioWare has already worked on the PS3; they gave us Dragon Age: Origins and the sequel will also be releasing for the PS3, 360 and PC next year as well. Finally, the RPG maker stated several times that they would continue to work with Sony's machine, so ME3 on PS3 really does seem inevitable.
If you don't plan on watching the Awards - and you might not - we'll try to get that teaser up on here.

They like the console scene as well but they won't use it as a lead platform for their games. Especially the RPG's. And if you look through their history, just about all of their games have been exclusive. Primarily to PC only, but they are branching out more in the last 2 years or so.

True that those came out on consoles first. But the PC versions were also being worked on at the same time. And if you compare the console editions to the PC editions, the console versions are the lesser versions due to less content of the two. Consoles received their versions first, but Bioware released the full vision of the game on PC later. And of the 15 full fledged releases they have made, not counting handhelds, 5 have been released on console first. So as I said before, most of their games are exclusive primarily on PC.
