Spider-Man 3 Platform-Exclusive Features

Web-slinging fans everywhere are anxiously anticipating both the movie and the game, which has been scheduled for the Nintendo Wii and DS, and the Sony PSP and PS3. We also recently learned each would boast some cool exclusive game content, but until today, we really didn't know what those bonuses might be.

Obviously, this isn't official just yet, but EB Games has revealed some of the exclusive content, which is all listed over at their website. The Wii version gets what you might expect, but to use EB's description, it gives you "the sensation of swinging through the city via the Wii Remote and Wii Nunchuk." That oughta be interesting, although we wonder how exactly it will be done... This version will also receive a couple extra villains; Morbius and Shriek.

The DS's exclusive bonus content is a bit more cryptic, and despite some generic promotional speak, it's still worth mentioning; this version gets you a "revolutionary battle system featuring full NDS touch screen combat. Huge, never-before-seen 3D world and large revolving storyline on the NDS platform." "Revolutionary battle system," eh?

And of course, if you guessed the exclusive content on the Wii, you could probably guess what EB Games says about the PS3 version of Spider-Man 3: "Dazzling visuals, amazingly realistic lighting and shadows, and a gameplay experience that takes full advantage of next-gen platform power and technology." Yeah, see, we could've figured that. The PSP version is a little less exciting, as it's "a fully streaming, complete conversion of the PlayStation 2 system game, not a port." We thought "conversion" meant "port," but we must be wrong.

So peruse the content and decide for yourself which platform will offer you the best Spidey experience.
