Jaffe: Twisted Metal Nearing Alpha Development Stage
See Full ImageEver since exploding onto the scene at E3, Eat Sleep Play has been mostly quiet concerning their current promising project, Twisted Metal.
Even head honcho David Jaffe, who is usually relatively chatty in regards to his blog and Twitter, hasn't offered much in the way of status updates. But recently, he did mention the game at his personal Twitter page, and it does sound encouraging:
"...All I can say is we're racing towards Alpha, if that helps :)
As most all of you know, we were aware of this title for a good year and a half before it was officially announced, and we can tell you that at the time of our initial interview where they spilled the beans (end of 2008), we were told about early stages of development. If they're nearing Alpha, that's good news...right? Then we've got beta and then we've got a public beta test, yes? Date, please?
From what we've seen so far, they're definitely headed in the right direction. This might be the very first game I play a lot online, just 'cuz it was always a blast to play with friends in older TM titles. Who's looking forward to this bad-ass 2011 game?

So good to hear that they're in Alpha already.
Can't wait. I'm hoping Korn, yes Korn the band lends them a song or two for this game.

apparently sonys getting ready to open up the motorstorm apocalypse beta early december.
hope we do get a TM beta, never played it before so would be nice to see what all the hypes about!
