Toys R Us Holiday Sale: Simple Buy 1, Get 1 Half Off
See Full ImageEveryone always keeps us apprised of game sales. Around this time of year, readers are especially interested in saving a few bucks, and we don't blame 'em one little bit.
The latest sale could really help to either boost your own collection or serve as a "one for me, one for you" opportunity. And you know, while some sales are sorta complicated and feature a lot of caveats and requirements, this one from Toys R Us is as simple as can be: buy any video game, any hardware accessory, or any strategy guide, and get a second item of equal or lesser value (in the gaming category) for 50% off. This offer lasts all the way until December 24 so feel free to browse about and find a way to take advantage; there are lots of games out there, now that the fall assault is over. Which games did you miss? How often do you see cut-and-dry quality deals like this? Look, the holidays can be all sorts of stressful for everyone, so it's always a bonus to have a retailer be all consumer-friendly and give us a break. We deserve it, right?
We would suggest that you be nice and buy one game as a holiday gift. Of course, the receiver doesn't need to know about this sale, and that you got a game you want for half price.
