EA Store Lists Mass Effect 3 PS3, Then Listing Disappears
While neither EA or BioWare has admitted that Mass Effect 3 is PlayStation 3-bound just yet, they've certainly hinted at the possibility. after ME2 launches for the PS3 in January, most figure ME3 is an inevitability.
And it seems like every week, we find another piece of evidence: the latest comes from the EA Store, where Mass Effect 3 was listed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. We say "was" because shortly after Joystiq noticed it, EA made the listing disappear. But here's one of the screen grabs, and the description included a mention of Commander Shepard (yep, he'll be back), who must "gather the races of the galaxy to launch 'one final mission' against machines striking from beyond known space." They didn't provide us with a release estimate but it certainly went a long way to confirming a bunch of rumors. Of course, many expect the official announcement to arrive tonight at the Spike TV Video Game Awards, so you might want to tune in for that. Other pluses for the evening will include Neil Patrick Harris as host and the very first footage of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Those are good enough reasons, right?
Anyway, we'll just assume that Mass Effect 3 is a true-blue multiplatform effort and leave it at that.

Secondly, it uses UE3. UE3 and 360 have been soul mates since Gears.
Though, I'm still wanting to give ME2 a try on PS3. I'd like to assess the conversion and also take advantage of all of the bonus content that looks to have piled up on the 360 side. I'm fascinated to find out who the Shadow Broker actually is from having played the first game.

Bioware: Come on MS, we're gonna launch it on PS3 simultaneously. Don't think we won't do it.
MS: We're not budging on our 15% timed exclusivity pay out bonus.
Bioware: *lists ME3 on EA Store*
MS: STOP! okay, okay fine. 20%...
Bioware: *de-lists ME3 for PS3* I knew you'd see things our way =)

One on the 360 because that's where I already have the series. and I'll also be able to transfer some my save files from the older ME to the newer one.
I'll also get it for the PS3 just because I want to see the differences & get all the extra content.
Plus I need each version for my collections. I hope it never comes to the Wi, as I'd hate to have to buy a 3rd version, LOL

I'll be grabbing it on 360 either way due to having ME1 & ME2 on 360.
