Mass Effect 3 Launching Simultaneously On PS3, 360, PC
We've all assumed that Mass Effect 3 would come to the PlayStation 3 and furthermore, it would simultaneously launch for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, just like most all multiplayer titles.
After all, ME2 is finally coming to Sony's machine in January, developer BioWare has already made Dragon Age multiplatform, and EA simply doesn't do platform exclusivity; one of the biggest publishers in the world must cater to as many gamers as possible. But assumptions can lead to problems, so it's nice to have the official word. According to IGN, EA has confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will not only come to the PS3, it'll release for all major platforms at the same time. For the record, ME2 will launch with a ton of extra content for the PS3 on January 18 and the original ME will remain exclusive to the 360 and PC. Well, we sort of have to look forward here; progression is the name of the game, and after seeing that teaser trailer, role-playing followers ought to be plenty excited. As this generation pushes forward, the concept of the third-party exclusive is dying out...but at least we still have a few huge exclusive titles for each platform.
The only problem is that the holiday 2011 season is just plain out of control. How the heck are we going to play all the games we want to play?! 'sob'

Thats just pathetic if you ask me. You dont write an article stating the top ten 360 exclusives for 2011, and put in titles that havnt been announced.
Listen i have no qualms woth the 360 in fact their are some games id love to be able to play. But most of those games are becoming multiplat, like mass affect for instance, n it started with bioshock. I jist find it really pathetic that these fans of the 360 are reaching out thinking aomething is there wheb it isnt. Yes the 360 will have games out next year but looking at the future none of those will be even a shimmer of light next to the huge lineup that is 2011 for the PS3.

And yes, Holidays 2011 is looking mighty crowded for the PS3. Lots of AAA titles slated to come out. It's great to be a PS3 owner! I am sure that Sony would not put these games out at the same time, but some of them could overlap. Do we have a date for inFamous 2 already?

All in all, great news! A game this masterful deserves a bigger audience. Those who haven't played it & wanted to are in for one hell of an experience.
Make sure you play on renegade with a fem shepherd if you want to feel like a complete bad ass.
