Nearly 50 Titles Now Support Move

The number of titles that support PlayStation Move is growing rapidly, so if you're seeking Sony's new motion tech as a holiday gift, you should be well supplied.

As noted over at the PlayStation Blog, the number of Move-compatible games is now closing in on 50, and that includes newly released titles like Beat Sketcher and Auditorium, and older games such as Heavy Rain and Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. Coming soon will be LittleBigPlanet 2 and Killzone 3, two of the biggest PS3 exclusives to date, and both will give you the option of "Moving." You can see the full list of Move games through the link above; compatibility really is starting to pop up everywhere. The last two games I reviewed had Move support: Create wasn't great, but the motion sensing actually made control a bit more fun, and even Deadliest Catch: Sea of Chaos had it...but I didn't test it. Sorry, I just couldn't. I was tired, the game was boring me to tears, egg nog wasn't really helping my enjoyment and in the end, I didn't think anybody cared.

But anyway, the future should be bright for Move. We at PSXE are really looking forward to Sorcery, too.

I have no regrets about getting the Sports Champions bundle a few weeks ago. I finished Heavy Rain using the Move and it was an awesome experience. I would also admit that Sports Champions was fun, with Gladiator Duel being my early favourite. One thing's for sure, I need another Move controller!

As for the games coming out, I'm really looking forward to Sorcery. It ought to be lots of fun. Harry Potter would get so jealous and say "That's how my game is supposed to be like! EA, do something about it!"

I wonder how the last of 3D capable games looks and what the overlap is?

As for the Deadliest Catch, perhaps now game makers will realize that just because something has a hit series of documentaries on Discovery, that does not mean it will make a great game...

Sorcery is the game I'm waiting for to finally get a Move system. 2011 is going to be quite a backlog of titles.

So Sony released Move here (Brazil), and as usual the price is just baffling: around $468 USD!

And just fyi, Kinectic is around $351 USD here.

But I'd definitely like to have one someday. Wheres Jaffe when you need him...

Move is great fun but im having a hard time knowing which games are good for it.

Do you reckon you could have a section under playstation move reviews?

Sports champion seems to be the best so far and im looking at buying time crisis atm

Killzone 3 with that new rifle attachment for the Move and Nav controller looks like it will be awesome fun.

I have this nagging hunch that Sorcery is gonna end up a pretty casual game.

@ Hezzron

It could but the aspect of what has been shown does intrigue (sorry if i spelled that wrong) me, the way you control the wand and mixing majic powers together with the Move should suffice for some great fun, even though it might be a cassual game or a mix of casual gaming with good storyline and gameplay

50 titles is all well and good, but what Move need is not quantity, it's quality. The sports games were fun enough to test Move for a while, but that fun is over now... Move need *the* game that shows without doubt why Move is a must-have. I'm sorry to admit it but right now my Move sticks are stuffed away with the Buzzers...

More Move exclusives! Support and having the option of using the Move is cute but not great. It's like having the option to use the classic controller instead of the Wiimote and nun-chuck. If it's not required it's not required, simple as that.

I like Move a lot so far. Hopefully it will have staying power, and not end up being just a novelty like the EyeToy. Move seems to have much more potential, though. I also like the idea of making it an option in games like KZ3 and SOCOM 4, as long as it's implemented well and not just tacked on.

MEGATON! Biggest thing evah!
Pretty great, but not mind-blowing.
Something decent but that's it.
A waste of hype.
