Rumor: Full Game Trial For MAG Looming On The Horizon
Demos are cool. Being able to sample the entire game for free for a limited time might be even better, depending on the title.
MAG is basically a MMO shooter, which means it needs time to grow and expand; developer Zipper Interactive has done a lot throughout 2010, and anyone who frequently plays will run down a laundry list of improvements, fixes, and general enhancements. So maybe you've been waiting for the bigger and better MAG but aren't quite sure about a purchase...and if so, this news is for you. As noted by more than a few gamers and sources around the Internet, the Flickr page for the PlayStation Blog has a telling image. As you can see, it's the logo for MAG and beneath it, we see "Full Game Trial." This could be huge, because many opted to wait after the game launched in early 2010; if they're allowed to become aware of the many, many improvements for free, that could result in a lot more dedicated players. Would you be willing to give it a try? It's the deepest online FPS out there.
As of now, MAG has sold over 1 million units, although since the last update, it could've moved closer to the 1.5 million mark.

To those who have yet to try it, there really is a deep MMO experience to be had.

i dont know how much they can get though because all that will be open for them is suppression and sabotage. domination and acquisition highlights how big the game is and i dont think they'll reach that in an hour.
on a side note, i just downloaded the dc online universe beta and it took me over 12 hours to download 15gb. i dont have the fastest connection but its good enough playing online. i had to leave the ps3 to download it while i slept. i guess they dont get that not everyone has a really fast internet connection. i have no interest in playing it now but since i already downloaded it, i'm obligated to play it. not that big of a fan of the game but since i took the time to download it, i just cant delete it before i play it.

Anyway, I am probably going to get the trial and see how it goes. I know the game is good (got lots of friends that play it), but my motion sickness usually tells me to keep my distance from FPS games. And due to lack of experience playing such games, I know I'd suck. LOL

Just be patient with this game, it may be frustrating at first, but its just fun. Also the Move add on really helps make it more immersive. At first, it took me a long time to get used to the sensitivity of the Move. I nearly wanted to give up and go back to DS3, but I decided to give the Move few more tries and finally I got the hang of it, and it just adds that extra fun factor.

If only Sony/Playstation would take the initiative to broaden their focus and stop promoting Playstation stuff to Playstation owners.
What they need to do is bring an awareness to what they have to offer in front of a board of people who all have a similar interest. With that interest being what Playstation has to offer, not Playstation itself.

Could you imagine if say Killzone for example, you had a one-time choice, Higs or ISA and that was it.. You could be waiting ages for a game coz there may be loads of one but not enough of the other

i have noticed that sony mistakenly takes things down sometimes. if its missing you might need to call sony and ask them. i have seen it before the dlc to marvel ultimate alliance 2 disappered off the store for months and reappeared one day.

The move with MAG is really fun, its almost like using a mouse and keyboard, they do give you practice in the practice mode with move, but other than that it doesen't tell you much. But it's really easy, and if your good, very good! I say if you have move or getting it soon I'd pick up MAG if not I say wait for KIllzone 3 or socom 4
