Sony Seeks Applicants For Team ICO
If two games could dictate your reputation, you'd want it to be two games like ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. And in some great news today, we learn the team responsible for those two last-gen gems are currently working on a PS3 title...and, they're in the market for some help.
The latest edition of Famitsu features a huge two-page Sony job advertisement that outlines several open positions with the ICO team, including programmers and engineers. Obviously, they're seeking talented and experienced individuals; specifically, those with a background in physical simulations, shader programming, algorithms, networking technology, and general game programming. Those top the list, but they're also looking for artists, animators, level designers, assistant producers and scripters. Geez, are they looking to add to the team, or create a whole new one?
If you're interested in applying for any of the aforementioned jobs, please check out Sony's official site.
Unfortunately, though, besides some odd designs on the page, we have no idea what this mystery PS3 project might be. Will it be another installment - albeit not a direct sequel - in the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus world? Or something else entirely? And how long have they been working on it? Could it be ready this year? Forgive us for asking, guys, but after those two titles, we're very interested to see what you can deliver for the PS3.
