Sony Isn't Forcing Naughty Dog To Use Move In Uncharted 3
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will support 3D but what about Sony's other nifty technology?
Well, while Sony certainly would like for Naughty Dog's latest project to support PlayStation Move, the developer doesn't feel any pressure. This according to studio co-president Christophe Balestra and director Justin Richmond, who confirm that Sony isn't forcing them to do anything:
"They're not telling us we have to use Sixaxis or Move. They'll say it'd be nice, of course, but they're not going to go against our judgment if we say it's not the right thing to do."
Interestingly enough, Sony may encourage developers of big-name games to include Move compatibility, but Richmond says "they accept it when it doesn't [work]." We'll find out next year if Naughty Dog goes and tries Move for Uncharted 3; our stance is that it might not be all that intuitive. 3D is fine and could really enhance the experience but Move in an action/adventure with both platforming and shooting elements...? Could be too much of a challenge, you know?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not even remotely part of any gaming development... Aka, I'm completely clueless to the effort and development it takes! If it can be done (optional, possibly delayed, dlc for those interested in trying to move is fine with me too...

@ Guyver: Who the hell are these two girls in your avatar-picture? They seems quite hot even if they so small I'm hanging right in front of this screen ... Yip, we are men.

certainly is hard, i cant see it working for the platforming bits but than you do have buttons on the move and sub controller so why not just use those?
have both obviously, but id be nice to have full move support.
full as in start to finish, not that only once in a blue moon BS TRON pulled!
so stupid you have to keep your move controller on the whole time just for 2 minutes of use.
play the game for say 3 hours and you only get to use the move controller for maybe 10 minutes!
what a waste of the battery!

To be honest, I'm not fussed either way, as I don't think I would use Move with the game, even if I had it. I only hope and pray that this game comes out on the specified date, and no later. That would simply break my heart.
Peace.

That being said, I can't wait to see how Socom 4 does with the MOVE, and how the gameplay will compare beside KZ3...I'll be getting both and probably trying the Move in Both.

Then again, the grenade aiming with the sixaxis worked alright. As long as they are not forcing the tech into the game, I don't think there is a problem. Seems like Sony is aware of this.

I just don't want Sony to cram it down our throats. I plan on getting it within the next month (b4 Killzone). I still just would like to see more with the six axis and other things we've wanted coughpartychatcough
