Two DLC Packs For Castlevania Set For Early 2011
The game is quite long enough on its own, but that doesn't mean fans won't appreciate the extra content.
Today, Konami has announced that two DLC packs for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will launch early next year and expand upon that great atmosphere and action. The packs will let players explore all new areas, take on new monsters, and see different parts of that involving storyline. The first pack is dubbed "Reverie" and players will "return to the Castle as Gabriel to help Laura, the former servant to the vampire Carmilla, in destroying the unruly evil that was previously kept in check by the recently slain Queen." After you're done with that, you can then download "Resurrection," which is basically a mini-sequel, as it picks up right were the end of the game leaves off: it "gives some insight into the dramatic epilogue seen by players upon completion of the game, and Gabriel's ultimate destiny." This DLC pack is actually larger than Reverie, because it "features a final showdown with a very notorious enemy."
Well, that all sounds plenty entertaining, doesn't it? Fans of the solid action title should be interested in picking up both DLC packs when they arrive; we'll get you the dates and prices when they become available.

Castlevania LOS was criminally underated imo. It looked visually impressive, the platforming was slick, the enemies & environments are varied, the bosses are epic, & the game was quite lengthy which is something i can't say alot of for most hack n' slash titles lately. Top it all off with Kojima's majestic touch & you have a top quality game.

People need to understand that this is not a 2D Castlevania nor should it play anything like 2D Castlevania. If this game had another name people would love it.
