Tomb Raider Multiplayer Confirmed?
It's not a game that requires multiplayer but at this rate, the next God of War will be forced to include the feature.
One would expect to find certain job listings for the new Tomb Raider; it isn't all that surprising to find Crystal Dynamics seeking a technical producer and a senior level designer. But as Joystiq reports (citing job listings found at Gamasutra), the studio is also looking for a "multiplayer producer" and a "senior multiplayer game designer." And there's no mistaking the title in question, as one can find "come and work on the new Tomb Raider" underneath the job listings. Recently, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light boasted co-op gameplay but besides that, this franchise has never boasted any sort of multiplayer option. If you think you're capable of fitting the bill, feel free to apply. For the rest of us, it means we can expect a multiplayer facet in the new TR installment...again, we're not sure if we need it, but perhaps it could be a big bonus.
We're still fairly certain that any Tomb Raider experience will have to rely on a quality single-player experience, though.

They're probably just doing it to appeal more to the 360 fanbase since that crowd is allot more hardcore when it comes to they're multiplayer, it's like a must have feature for them or they ain't buying it.

I have high hopes for this reboot and while I agree multiplayer isn't needed, it sort of IS needed these days for anyone to freakin buy it.
Let's just hope they take their cues from the Uncharted series and maybe stack up about chest high against it.
Yeah, I said chest.

While it can be said that SE is very much playing a hand in the distruction of this franchise, the damage was done years time after Eidos forced out the creators of the Tomb Raider franchise, and I'm not talking about Toby Gard who have unapologetically taken credit for something he technically didn't create.

the SP experience is all that madders, that's a huge thing that separates us from the 360 owners. We like our SP and they like there MP, that's why a huge number of 360 owners loves COD and buy the prestige Edition.
All thou PSN is better then Xbox line now, and it's FREE.
I have high hopes for this game I remember the first ones on the PS1, so awesome, I also played one on the Nintendo SP. I hope everything turns out to be awesome for this game, just don't dedicate to much into the MP... Especially TR, this game does not, DOES NOT NEED this feature.

As far as i'm concerned, this franchise had it's funeral when Angel of Darkness landed. It's nasty aroma is still evident with the fact that they're still churning it out on a regular basis.
Let it die already & instead of pissing on something that died years ago.
