Atlus Prepping Catherine Demo, Set To Announce New Titles
Got a Japanese Network account? Interested in Atlus' intriguing new project? We've got good news.
According to Siliconera, game director Katsura Hashino recently mentioned an upcoming demo for Catherine, the horrific/erotic blend of action, platforming and in-depth storytelling. We don't have a release date for the sample but as the title is scheduled to hit Japan on February 17, we imagine it isn't far off. The good news is that even though Atlus hasn't announced any plans to bring the game to North America, you won't have to import the entire product to get a taste...heck, we've all used our Japanese accounts for such things, right? We're interested to see how Catherine pans out; everything we've seen and heard thus far has piqued our curiosity, and we always have plenty of faith in Atlus. On a related note, we've also heard they plan to announce new titles in 2011 and we're sure Persona followers are hoping for a new PS3 iteration. With JRPGs falling off in terms of availability and popularity this generation, it'd be nice to see a familiar name.
We'll let you know if they ever decide to talk about releasing Catherine in North America and/or Europe. Cross your fingers.

they do realize ps3s have been released outside JP right?
this is what i hate about sony.
all the best stuff is exclusive to JP.
that titanium blue GT5 ps3 was soooooooooooooooo freaking sweet!
why should i suffer because of where i live?
ok, then where are the AU exclusives?
US gets them, JP gets them hell even the UK have had a few!
so, again i ask where are the AU exclusives?
one thing ill never understand about sony, the US treats them like sh*t, the ps3 is getting flogged there so they treat them like royalty.
EU is the complete opposite, so they treat them like sh*t under their shoe!
i thought you were suppose to thank the hands that feed you.......... not bite them off!
