More Uncharted 3 Gameplay Footage Surfaces, Astounds

You've seen the launch trailer and the burning chateau gameplay, but even more footage for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception has surfaced.

You can find the videos over at Eurogamer; there are two separate vids, each with a ton of great gameplay action. We'd post the videos here but we don't have permission to do so (didn't really ask, but whatever), so definitely click the link above to enjoy the goodness. You may notice what we noticed: the added animations for Drake and Sully are darn impressive; they seem more human than ever before, and just about every last movement looks - and likely feels - extremely authentic. It also seemed as if Drake's weapon has more recoil this time around. The environments are drop-dead gorgeous and the overall detail is astounding...we still can't believe Naughty Dog has most of 2011 to keep working on this project. The final result should blow us all away and we will always welcome more footage. Despite the stellar 2011 lineup, there doesn't appear to be anything in Uncharted's universe.

Remember, there are two parts to the footage so be sure to watch 'em both. You'll go to bed happy if you do. Promise.

The environment looks awesome. The texture of drake and the environment clearly were improved from the previous game.

I am restraining myself from watching further videos. A bit of Uncharted 2 were spoiled from watching too many gameplay videos.

Uncharted 1, I had some complaints on the controls. Uncharted 2 gameplay was perfected. I played that game to death, my first and only platinum trophy. I'm satisfied with the gameplay of Uncharted 2 already, any improvements on future Uncharted games are just pure luxury.

Yeah I agree, I've seen enough already with the launch trailer and the first gameplay video to get me superpumped for U3 (like I wouldn't have been anyway!!) so I'll try my best NOT to watch any more U3 trailers and videos until the game comes out, not to spoil to many cool moments and story from the game!!

I didn't do that with U2, and after finishing the game I remember wishing I hadn't seen so many videos prior to playing the game...

Crazy goodness! looking forward to this one (massive understatement) If there's a midnight release I'll def. be there. The hand to hand combat looks awesome and the location they chose was a certainly a good call. Anyways, UC3 is just lying in wait to take over next year and most probably nab the GOTY award ;)

Damn! How does Naughty Dog do it? Obviously, what makes Uncharted such an awesome series is the perfect blend of story, action, strategy and puzzle-solving, but to do all that and with simply mind-blowing graphics just incredible. Can't wait.

Damn, my laptop has issues with video being choppy, I'll catch it on my PC later. I bet it's somethin great though. I sense a lot of Uncharted news in PSXE's future and that is good. I'm glad Sully is getting a bigger presence this time around (at least I think he is).

Uncharted 3, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, inFamous 2, Last Guardian, and even LBP2. 2011 is gonna be a crushing year for Sony. How will MS keep up?

Uncharted 2 told the story in a better way but THE DIALOGUES WERE WAY BETTER in the first uncharted,the mystery and the characters were better in the first one they were perfect,

Thank god sully is back in the 3rd Uncharted with Nate.

I'm not saying Uncharted 2 is bad as a story,i loved the Lazarevic and Nate scenes especially(Epic Scenes).Gameplay wise uncharted 2 told the story really well but the core story overall was better in uncharted 1.
I trust naughty dog.Uncharted 3 will be even a better story.So no worries.

I actually agree with you. The pacing of the second was better, but the story of the first has the edge in my mind. And as I've stated many times before, you can't go past Eddy Raja.

I think the story in the first was very good, but was a lot more straight forward. Uncharted 2 had more twists and turns, less predictability, which is much to my like.

After seeing both of these clips earlier today, I've decide that I need to resuscitate my old firefighter's Scott air-pack & dust off my mask once again, just because U3's graphics are going be just too hot to handle otherwise.

Damn, it's a shame I sold my antique 1953 Seagrave Fire Engine, I could place it right outside my slider, just in case of any ensuing flashovers during one of my marathons.

That footage creams the Y-fronts. The fact that this game is looking as polished as this already with still a good 11 months before it's release means that ND aren't F-ing about. These lads mean business, i wouldn't be surprised if this gets GOTY in 2011, my bet is it's between this & Mass Effect 3.

I am also pleased that ND didn't implement Move. I don't want to wave my arms around like a tit, i want to sink into the couch & enjoy this beast using a pad. My only personal concern is the possible conclusion of co-op. If they want co-op in multiplayer then by all means, but don't F up the campaign with split screen.

o, and im really not digging the new scenery.
for once can we have a nice colorful game instead of this dreary crap!?
i wish uncharted would go back to the lush jungles of the original, im sick of all these dark color games.
maybe thats why im always so negative, they say dark colors are quite depressing....................

Also, "___________", you shouldn't judge from just these two scenes, you must've read that Drake and co. travel around the world in Uncharted 3, so you shouldn't have to worry about them visiting colorful places, just sayin', have faith in Naughty Dog, they'll deliver.

Wait... SO you mean to tell me that Halo is much more colorful and less depressing than Uncharted? Woah, woah, woah... So I must be colorblind because it's the total opposite to me! Halo always came to me as being a darker game seeing as it takes place in space (mostly, anywho) with a war going on, whereas Uncharted has the green, lush leaves, bright, vibrant snow, and now life-like, glowing sand.

Maybe I'm crazy, but ND's environments, story, and even dialogue doesn't seem anywhere close to being dark and dull. However, Halo...

Wow! Ok.. I officially swallowed my pervious words regarding how much better this game can look compared to the second iteration... Holy moly! I figured lighting & fx would better its predecessors, but body movements look silky! The texture of drakes hair caught my attention in the second trailer when he stands in direct sunlight.. It's like his damn hair is an entirely modeled specimen rather than looking like typical lifeless hair!

This game is amazing.... Unfortunately, I CAN wait for it to release because I'm sick of winter this year in december! Haha, don't want to even think about anything cold... Other than ice cubes in my jack & coke, playing bags in summer sunlight!

Nathan Drake is a baaaaaad dude! I also agree that the story was much better in Part 1. I can't wait to get my hands on that sawed off shot gun. If the footage looks that good in a small sized clip on a computer monitor, I can only imagine how good it will look on my 32 inch HD. Damn I can't wait. As mentioned, the blend of story with the characters, animations, and graphics are almost unparalled. ND kicks major ass.

Come on Nov 2011 Hurry up LOL. I have to stop watching videos or reading anything on this game it's going to make me go insane. I'll just keep playing the first and second since my dear old 2year daughter reset my ps3 back and everything was deleted :( Can't believe how quickly she learns :)
