Armored Core Competition Set For March

Love mech games like Armored Core 4? Think you're damn good at 'em? Want to make some extra cash? Well, you might want to consider entering the Armored Core Championship Battle 2007...of course, you must have imported the title, unless you're already living in Japan. You don't have much time, though; March 1 is the throw-down date.

This time around, despite officially taking place in Japan, the competition will play out over the PlayStation Network, allowing just about anyone with the game and a PS3 to participate. It will go on for three weeks, and the final event will be held in Tokyo, where the top two players will battle it out for the grand prize: 2 million yen ($16,674). That's not a bad pay day, is it?

The Xbox 360 version of the game doesn't release until March 22, which means the competition is only open to those with a PS3. We're just wondering if that was intentional... However, even it was, this is an annual event, and we assume they won't be ignoring 360 owners in the future, provided they have a way of including both the Network and Live.
