Michael Jackson Busts A Move On PS3, 360 In April
It was initially scheduled to launch in November, but it only managed to arrive for the Wii, DS, and PSP. Now, we have new release dates for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.
Ubisoft has announced that Michael Jackson: The Experience, which managed to sell 2 million copies for the aforementioned platforms, will arrive for the PS3 and 360 on April 12 in North America, and a couple days later in Europe, the Middle East, and Asian territories. Specifically designed for PlayStation Move and Microsoft's Kinect, Ubisoft boasts a "complete performance experience," and the Move/Kinect iterations feature new songs like "Blood on the Dance Floor" and "I Just Can't Stop Loving You." Plus, PS3/360 owners get the benefit of new exclusive features: Kinect players get to see themselves on the screen, and Move users can take advantage of an automatic Facebook feed that "allows the player to instantly post his/her progress and pictures of themselves playing the game to their Facebook page..." Furthermore:
"The game play also adapts to the available hardware (Move only, microphone only or Move plus microphone) and offers dancing, singing or dancing and singing depending on the accessories owned by the player. Additionally, the Michael Jackson School Mode takes advantage of both the Playstation Eye and Kinect by allowing players to see themselves on screen at the side of renowned dancers that actually worked with Michael Jackson to learn the iconic moves of the King of Pop."
The executors of the Michael Jackson estate, John Branca and John McClain, say they're "extremely thrilled with how people around the world are embracing and enjoying" the game, and you can bet it'll get even bigger when the Move and Kinect get involved. So, do you plan to hit the dance floor in April?

If the 360 version supports singing, I might just have to go the Kinect version, but if not, would make a much more fun Karaoke game and a dance game second.
And honestly, I reckon using Kinect for dancing would be much more fun and engaging than trying to match Move controller waving to the screen. If there's one thing the Kinect does well, it's dancing and fitness games. Otherwise, for your more hardcore or deeper experiences, you got the Move.

So can the PSEye basically perform the same actions as the Kinect? What makes the Xbox version so different that the PS version will need the Move?
