Job Listing Indicates Medal Of Honor 2?
We were in the minority when we praised Medal of Honor, which is why we wholeheartedly endorse the idea of a sequel.
The game did sell relatively well and EA has professed its sincere desire to support the franchise. Furthermore, it seems developer Danger Close might be cranking on MoH2; a new job listing cited by IndustryGamers says the team is looking for an AI engineer for an "unannounced AAA first-person shooter title." There's also a request for "exposure to multiplayer and/or co-op development," and that's important because DICE handled the multiplayer for last year's MoH reboot. So does this mean Danger Close will take full control of the entire production for the sequel...? EA had said they wanted 3 million in sales to guarantee a follow-up effort and at last check, the 2010 effort had sold around 2 million. But that's enough, right? For our part, we have plenty of recommendations and suggestions concerning a sequel, because while we remain happy with the reboot (happier than most), we certainly see room for improvement, especially on the technical front.
And don't forget that it might once again be a very controversial project. You may recall the whole Taliban issue...

I liked the reboot but would love to see a longer campaign with more technical polish and bigger multiplayer maps with better weapon variety.

I like what danger close did i really do. I thought MOH was the best shooter last year hands down. But this is where danger close proves their worth if this turns out to be MOH2! I hope they pull it off i want this series back bad! Always will be one of my favorites.

I really in need of a Shooter fix, I played one in a while(since COD4MW). But Homefront and KZ3 will fix that.
I don't see why they wouldn't make a follow up. MoH did sell well, like Ben said. It was actually a pretty good game. MoH2 is bound to come and with some improvements, it can get a lot more people to jump in(I was hoping MoH would of stole some COD fans and slow some sells down.
It's to early to say anything about the game, but I'm all ears for more information about this game.

From what I gather, MoH was just about the closest thing to being a legitimate contender against CoD to come out. Battlefield was a possibility, but I feel it doesn't really have the same brand recognition. Using the Frostbite engine, or another of EA's proprietary engines, such as the Dead Space one would be cool, and would serve to raise my interest a bit. But first and foremost is the need to increase the game length. I know that quality is more important, but it shouldn't be too difficult to bump it up to y'know ten hour without too much difficulty.
Peace.

I tried MOH I really did but I couldn't get past the quad bike/ snowmobile section (I forget which) because each time a guy finished talking I would find myself two metres above the quad unable to move.. Also the multiplayer wasn't too hot it's like they tried to combine COD and Battlefield and Battlefield just doesn't work on the small maps they gave.

I really enjoy being able to pop Taliban with the weapons employed currently. I loved the story, loved the helicopter and all the rest. I really like the composition of the maps for online. I wish it had made more money and there were additional maps to come. You usually will not find me doing a second play through on anything. Snap to target does get a little boring for single player and I wish we could slide to cover online
If this was a prequel for future episodes Im in.

I just finished MoH this morning. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Much much more than Black Ops. Looking forward to the next one - if it's like this one - but more polished and longer. Great game - very under rated, IMO.
