Gearbox Not Done With Borderlands
For all you Borderlands fans out there, you'll be happy to know that Gearbox says there's much more to be done.
In speaking with NowGamer, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford says that despite all the DLC additions to the popular shooter-with-RPG-elements, the team could always make more, and the hint of a sequel can be noted in his words. Thus far, Gearbox and publisher 2K Games have provided players with four DLC expansions but that's hardly the last you'll see of Borderlands. Gearbox just loves their game, and they'll stick with it:
"We launched our fourth DLC not too long ago and when we finished the third DLC I [went] and asked the folks a few questions and they said 'We think this is going to be our last DLC.' Turns out it wasn't [laughs].
I asked the same question after the fourth and the answer was 'Well, it's the last one we've planned.' We were really excited to do more and the customers were really excited about more: We love what we've done with Borderlands and we know that there's more that we need to do and that the customers are looking forward to. We know we're not done with the franchise and we'll be letting you know what we're doing before too long."
That last bit could be an indication of a sequel, so cross your fingers. But don't forget that Gearbox also has to pump out Duke Nukem Forever this year, which, despite the 13-year wait, does look promising. ...I propose we toss out any and all expectations built up over that time period, and just hope for a polished, entertaining game. As for Borderlands, the game sold very well, so there's certainly an audience for more from what should become a new series.

As far as a sequel goes it would be a day one purchase for me. I missed buying the first, and i wont make that mistake again!

The cell-shaded look is great IMO, it just feels right for this game. Have to agree with Alienage re the RPG tag being a bit misleading tho...it's kinda there, but making B2 more like a "proper" RPG would be sheer bliss.

Funny though when i picked it up and started playing the cell shaded look really fits in the game. It fills in the atmosphere very well. It goes hand in hand with the game. Its pretty good, id reccomend renting it or buying it even. Ive seen it for $12 bux.

Edit - Not to mention playing Borderlands in COOP!!! I didn't have that option unfortunately and I just loved it! But I have heard that it's vastly superior playing in COOP mode.

If I update it, the game freezes every 5-30 minutes. If I don't update it, it doesn't freeze at all, but I can't play online and when my buddy comes over to play split-screen we both have my name over our heads.
I emailed them and asked them about it, but apparently they are one of those companies who just send out a generic reply without actually reading your email. It took 2 weeks to even get that reply.
What happened to customer support.
