Knights Contract Golden, Joins A Jam Packed February 22
Well, make that three new games for February 22, all of which just might be well worth playing.
Namco Bandai has announced that Knights Contract has gone gold, and will release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on February 22. Players will follow the adventures of the immortal executioner Heinrich and the witch Gretchen; Heinrich can't die but Gretchen can, so it's up to the hulking hero to protect his partner. The action is expected to be intense and gratifying, as gamers will "string together appendage-dismembering combos while the computer-controlled Gretchen uses her magic in a supporting role." We'll also be able to execute a variety of combination attacks via coordination between the two fighters, but you'll always be in control of the scythe-wielding Heinrich. You can learn more about Knights Contract by checking out our preview; we have high hopes, and it'll act as a nice complement to the two shooters scheduled for that day- Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm.
Our wallets are going to take a huge hit during 2011, aren't they?

No forthcoming demo and little footage smells kinda like a 7, but that vid makes it look damn good. I need a scythe to wave around until Visceral is done with Dead Space 2 DLC and gets on Dante's Inferno 2.

It'll be something different, but it will certainly pay for trying to compete. Having it on the shelf beside those other two games may raise interest, but I don't see it faring well. Too bad really.
Peace.
