Sample The Single-Player Of Killzone 3 On February 15

February is all about Killzone 3, and there are three separate dates that should be marked on your calendar:

Firstly, the public multiplayer beta, which begins on February 2. If you weren't involved in the private beta last year, this will be your first look at Guerrilla's hotly anticipated sequel, and you'll also be able to verify our analysis. You're also well aware of the launch date for the game, which is February 22. But the third date falls right in between: as revealed at the PlayStation Blog, a single-player demo will hit the PlayStation Network on February 15. So you've got two weeks to fiddle around with the multiplayer, than you can try out a portion of the campaign, and the following week, you can just pick up the complete product. In other words, you could really spend a lot of time playing KZ3 next month, if you're so inclined. For our part, we're expecting nothing less than FPS brilliance but then again...who isn't?

Even if you're not really into shooters, you might get swept up in all the hype surrounding this game... At least try the demo.

Luckyly I was in the private BETA & was impressed by it. The BETA was better than some games alone. Definitely looking forward to the public BETA again, ooh & also the demo! KILLZONE3 here I come!

The multiplayer demo will be available on the PS Store correct? Can't wait for it. Killzone 2 is easily one of my favorite games.

I'm all over this. I like how they're giving us samples of the multiplayer and the campaign. I like how they're marketing this game. This bad boy is gonna sell big time. Can't wait!

I'm down for that single player demo. Not sure when I will get the game but I'll be reading all the interesting stuff here on PSXE for sure.

All I know is I will crush the Helghast, and it will be brutal.

I might get into that multiplayer, but I will probably be busy playing Dead Space 2 or Mass Effect 2.

For games that I KNOW I'm going to get on day 1, I typically don't play the demo....I don't know if I don't want to "ruin" anything or what it is. But games that I'm on the fence about I like to get into some demo action.

Can't wait for Killzone 3 to hit!

Never thought about not playing a demo of a game I'll get day 1..I'm always too anxious to see what it's about..might try that in the future..likely with inFamous 2

The beta should absorb for the few weeks to the demo which in turn should last me to my birthday, at which the pre-ordered collectors edition should arrive. My plan is ready.

I will be downloading the demo and the beta but I will not partake in the Helghastly battle. I will wait for release date. I made this decision long ago but I must be honest. I cheated on the opening day of the Playstation Lounge in NYC. They made me do it. It was superb. This will be the first 3D game that I get to open and play at home on my 55" 3D Sammy. I had GT5 before I got the set. Sony=Quality.

I will be defending Home in just over 12 hours as well for my jetpack and unlock points and I have decided to support The Total Game Integration fully by pre ordering as well. My only qualm is that I will have to purchase release day shipping. Now that would be quite a surprise if that was another bonus.

i don't think i'll be playing the single-player demo because i have to familiarize myself with the multiplayer levels so that i could own noobs when the game actually comes out

I hope it's the E3 demo just like GOWIII.
That demo looks bloody fun, especially with the jetpack.

I don't think anyone mentioned that PS+ members can download it a week earlier. Just FYI.

Totally psyched!

My plan... Finish Demon's Souls this weekend. Hammer through Dead Space 1 and 2, then it's on between me and the Helghast as I play through 1, 2 and 3 in a marathon. I don't have time for betas and demos!
Peace.

if your a + member you get it the week earlier.
3D and move compatibility too!
this will decide whether i buy it or not.
KZ2 seriously disappointed me, so KZ3 will have to walk on water, turn water into wine, and heal the blind to suck me in!
