The Worst Game Ever To Infect PSN

If you're not familiar, iFun4All had one goal with Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder: to create the "worst game of all time."

And if you want to sample the worst of the worst, you'll soon be able to download Cannon Fodder on the PlayStation Store. As revealed at the PlayStation Blog, the "talentless drunkards" at iFun4All had limited funds and "even more limited access to power and Internet," so they just decided to go the other way. They first tried to create junk with Crap of Defense for the iPhone but unfortunately, people seemed to like it. So they went and tried harder - or less - with Paper Wars...but again, their plans were thwarted when the positive reviews rolled in. So they've decided to release it here in the US and see what happens:

"In this dreadful tower defense game, you’ll be forced to wade through terrible art, music and tons of typos in order to obliterate a sea of poorly drawn and animated advancing enemy soldiers. Each crappy mission is more challenging than the last, and using special power-ups and weapons, you’ll be hard-pressed to rack up the requisite amount of “killz” without letting enemies through your defenses to advance."

We really have no idea how to review the game. If it's terrible, according to the rules, it gets a 1. But obviously, we're supposed to reward the terribleness...or maybe that awfulness is the goal and when a developer hits their goal, they should be rewarded. ...whatever, we just wanna see it.

These guys can't simply come along and release their crap into the NA market and proclaim worst game ever. We all know the worst game ever is Rogue Warrior.

No, explosive diarrhea is nothing compared to playing Quantum Theory. That game sucked so bad that I had atomic diarrhea while playing it. Rogue Warrior is not THAT bad.

They had me at "tower defense". Aside from that, they shouldn't have picked a genre if they were trying to make a bad game.

Worst game ever?

HA!

Desert Bus from the unreleased "Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors" video game made for the SEGA CD in 1995. I don't think Desert Bust is in any danger, it seems like there is entirely too much to do in this game.

I'm sorry, but there are plenty of terrible games out there, so what's this about? Do they expect us to buy it? Is it free?

I am hesitant to buy some of the most hyped games on the market, no way I'm paying for this.

Worst game ever is a big claim. WTF did they create!? The nastiest slice of software belongs to Ninja Bread Man imo followed by Arc of Time. If these guys can topple those nasty smells then they deserve some sort of reward, and not a good one either.

This may turn out to be a game that carries the label of "It's so bad that it's good".

Which is what Death By Degrees & ahem, Deadly Premonition felt like to me.
