Bulletstorm's Gun Sonata Delivers New Content This Spring

You can't have a shooter without multiplayer, and you can't have multiplayer without DLC. It's like a new rule in gaming.

Epic Games and People Can Fly have delivered the rude, crude, and yet exceedingly entertaining Bulletstorm this week, and they have now announced the first batch of downloadable content. The elegantly titled "Gun Sonata" will feature three new maps for the game's Anarchy multiplayer mode. We've got the nasty sewers of Stygia, the crumbling Hotel Elysium, and the wide open Villa. We'll also get a couple new environments for the score-attack Echo Mode; Crash Site and Guns of Stygia. Oh, and if you're all into the "killing with skill" philosophy, you'll be happy to know you'll have two new Leash upgrades with this package: the Flamingo and the Pulp. God only knows what these will do but you have to use your imagination...the developers used all sorts of imagination when thinking up the many ways to die in Bulletstorm.

Gun Sonata will hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live service later this spring; it'll cost $9.99 on the PSN and 800 Microsoft Points on Live. For the record, you will see our review tonight.

ive been playing this game, its actually lots of fun. it does get lil repetitive when you do the same skill shot, but its awesome watching guys get killed by hot dog stands, or sliding towards them and blast them away with your shotgun. the mp is actually lots of fun, just needs little bit more in it, cause its pretty much like hordes mode in gears, but wave after wave of the same enemy really gets boring after 15 or 20 round.

it probably does. im playing on the hardest difficulty and its been longer than 5 hours of playing, cause you die a lot. im sure if its on the easy difficult it could be beaten in 5 hours.

A friend on my psn list started playing it last night, when he got on and started playing it said he was playing bulletstorm at Prologue.

2 hours later he was on chapter 4 act 2. I was just like, "wow."

That's why I love me some Two worlds 2, 35 hours in and I've barely begun chapter 2.

I'm still waiting for my copy of Bulletstorm to arrive in the mail. I'm looking forward to playing it and I'll buy this DLC if I like it.

they better be releasing it for the PC!
really disappointed by this, yet again the PC gets the crappy console port!
when are developers going to stop being lazy f*ckes and properly optimize the game for PC?
sigh, yet another PC game dubbed down for aging consoles :(
