Crytek: 60 Hours To Reach Top Rank In Crysis 2 Multiplayer
Well, this is new. When a developer talks about length, they're typically referring to the single-player element.
And that's because the multiplayer has no story and hence, no beginning and no end. But many games allow you to rank up online and some fans say, "I wonder how long it'll take me to reach the top rank..." Well, in Crysis 2, that process will take around 60 hours. And here's a progression video:
You can view a few of the upgrades seen in that video through the link above; there's cool stuff like Stealth Enhance and Tracker (highlight the footsteps of other players), and four separate armor modes were highlighted: Air Stomp, Threat Tracer, Detonation Delay, and Rapid Fire.
There's no doubt that Crysis 2 is a relatively deep shooter, and the online multiplayer component looks great. The only question left is whether or not Crytek can deliver on all their lofty claims...

Crysis isn't a game I have ever really wanted so even if I got it for $38 day of release I still wouldn't buy it. I may pick it up later but there is no hurry for me. Lots of better games coming out in my opinion.

they need to increase the level cap in that case if they dont want people trading the game in after a few weeks.
im more interested to see how long the campaign will take, crysis took me around 14 hours if i remember right.
hope they release heaps of mod tools for us to use, thats the best thing about crysis every day theres a new mod to play around with!
thats one thing i wish would come to consoles, so much fun playing around with mod tools to create new things for the game.
best way to keep people from trading it in too because theres always new things to create and new things to play.

The multiplayer does seems fairly complex though, but its not a deciding factor in my purchase of the game.
