Mortal Kombat Demo Hits PSN First
It's a reboot and a rebirth, and the fans are hoping it's everything they expect it to be.
Mortal Kombat will launch on April 21 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but developer NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment wants to give you an early peek at the action...and they're giving the nod to PS3 owners. It was announced today that a playable MK demo will be available exclusively to PlayStation Plus members on March 8; everyone else will be able to snag it a week later on the PSN. The demo will come to Xbox Live "later." This little taste will give you access to the standard arcade ladder for one or two players, and let you try out Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage and Mileena in either the Living Forest or The Pit. That ought to be plenty; we all know how long it can take to get used to our selected fighter, especially if we're playing a game we've sorta forgotten over the years.
Yeah, the game is banned in Australia but then again, nobody is surprised to see that. The next GTA probably won't make it there, either.

I laugh at this and why? based on the trailers I've seen the game is nothing but more of the same.
With that mind it come me to that Boon is calling this a reboot in an effort to drum up interest for a franchise that have lost credibility in the fight game community. But seriously though, MK is one piece of **** that should be put to rest.

Advice to Aus gamers wanting this. Import all the way, don't support a government that doesn't support you & your rights as an adult.
If you're worried about customs seizing your game then get in contact with the seller prior to shipping & ask them to place the MK disc sealed in a different game cover. Works for me every time.
Looking forward to this, MK back to it's brutal best.

GOW3 is ok for kids to play but MK is not?
ooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk............
nice to see the demo releasing a good month before the game though!
wish more developers would do this, instead of the 1-2 weeks BS.
crysis 2 for example, demo starts 15th of march and 8 days later the game comes out.

Mortal Kombat
