SCEE And Musterbrand Team Up To Deliver GT Boutique
Gran Turismo is big in Europe. And I'm convinced that if we had an Autobahn of our own here in the US, it'd be even more popular here. ...but given the way people drive these days, I'm pretty sure we'd need to issue special licenses for that thing.
Anyway, SCEE has teamed up with product licensing company Musterband to deliver the Gran Turismo Boutique. It's for all the hardcore gearheads out there who just can't get enough of Polyphony Digital's latest masterpiece. They've got all sorts of stuff, ranging from a t-shirt to a full-on race jacket (price range of $24.00 to $199.00). The GT logo is right there for all to see...well, provided they're looking at your waist, for some reason. Gamers might be confused but car enthusiasts won't be surprised at all; clothing associated with one's favorite brand is commonplace. It's why the aging playboys purchase a Ferrari baseball cap when they troll for younger ladies at the nightclub, secretly hoping to get the chick drunk enough so he can pass his rusty '95 3000GT off as an Italian supercar. So freakin' sad.
These look to be fine products; maybe you should pick up some stuff. I've still got a 350Z jacket and even though I don't have the car anymore, I keep the jacket 'cuz it's wicked light and surprisingly warm. And when anyone asks about the car - it remains a conversation starter - my response is usually: "well, I've upgraded...depending on your point of view." It's accurate.

BTW I would kill for a 350z jacket! It would be sooooo bodacious paired up with my wicked Acid-Wash jeans and 1984 Poison tour shirt. Don't forget the classic topper "Business in the front Party in the back" Agasi-Mullet, pencil thin stache and brown aviators.

cant drive for 2 minutes without swearing my head off at someone!
idiot today turned right from a left only lane right in front of me and 2 other cars, then has the hide to stick his finger up when we beep at him!
not to mention on the way home 3 trucks went through a red light, very red my light was green for like 20 seconds before they came through!
people dont give a sh*t anymore, they just think they own the road!
especially trucks!!!!!
back on topic i hope these are higher quality then the GT5 wallet supplied in the signature edition!
that thing was worse then the leather i bought from china!
ive stopped buying sonys limited editions, there ridiculously expensive and of extremely poor quality!
especially the KZ3 hig edition, the plastic was so thin i could bend it with my breath!
hoses on the helmet were so soft i ended up punching a hole in it just lifting the side off!

see what i mean. the 1st game did a little better in europe. gt2, and gt3 sold more in na. what really stands out in those numbers is the drop in na sales from gt3 to gt4. falling even more with gt5. 7.14 million copies in na to 1.6 is a significant drop, and i don't think the autobahn had anything to do with it. another thing that stands out is how small the japanese market is.
i have very fond memories of gt3. the jump in graphics from gt on the ps1 to the ps2 was impressive. that game helped sell a lot of ps2s.
