L.A. Noire Weekend Sweepstakes: The Dream Vacation

It's the L.A. Noire Weekend Sweepstakes. In honor of Rockstar's impending and ultra-promising title, you can now enter for a chance to win a trip for two to Los Angeles between Thursday, April 14 and Monday, April 18. This weekend getaway will put you in touch with the city that was the inspiration for the game, and here are the enticing details:
- Round-trip airfare to Los Angeles, and accommodations at the historic Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard
- Weekend Passes to attend the prestigious 13th Annual Los Angeles Festival of Film Noir held at the beautifully restored Egyptian Theater in Hollywood (a theater which makes an appearance itself in a scene in L.A. Noire)
- Passes to The Real Black Dahlia bus tour presented by Esotouric on Saturday April 16th - explore the sites and notorious locales related to the original haunting case.
That's one hell of a vacation! And let's not forget another awesome prize- you'll be one of "a very select few" to sample L.A. Noire early. Yep, you'll get a "private hands-on play session" a full month before the game is scheduled to launch in May.
In addition, 10 runners-up will win a copy of the Criterion Collection DVD release of the 1948 film noir classic, "The Naked City," and an official L.A. Noire t-shirt. To enter to win, you have to be a registered member of the Rockstar Games Social Club, so take care of that right now. The lucky grand prize winner will be chosen at random and notified in early April.

instead of going all the way to LA though, i wonder if R* will suffice in letting me walk 20 minutes down the road.
