Castlevania Reverie DLC Receives European Date

If you're still itching to get back to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, we've got good news.

Today, Konami announced the "Reverie" downloadable content pack for Gabriel Belmont's harrowing adventure; it'll be available in Europe on March 30. As for North America, the DLC should be here right around that time. For a frame of reference, it'll cost our European friends 7,99 Euros/£6.39 if downloading from the PlayStation Network, and 800 Microsoft Points if utilizing Xbox Live.

This is the first of two planned expansion packs, and also "marks a return to the game's climactic castle setting." You'll get to play through three new stages, and it supposedly offers a "breathtaking" plot twist, too. It should be well worth it for those who just couldn't get enough of Lords of Shadow when it released in October of last year.

woo hoo! 2010's goty (well, not really =p) receives an expansion. I'll first need to get the game before I can play this expansion. I'm usually not a big DLC guy, but LoS is intriguing enough for me to want more. good stuff. im eager for the sequel, too.

castlevannia is a great game. the way it ended just left me wanting more. loved everyting about it, from the great boss battlles to the gorgeous vistas. you really get a lot of bang for your buck with this game, too. it has a really long campign that gets better as you go along. loved it.

the ps3 version was superior, too.

These will likely be must buys for me. I almost want to blurt out what I think she means by becoming a "creature" but that would be massive spoilers to those who haven't played the main story.

My younger brother is absolutely fascinated by this game. He hasn't been this captivated by a game since uncharted 2 and god of war 3. He keeps telling me to play it when I get home and most likely will force me to beat it in front of him lol. I enjoyed the demo so I cannot wait to play this.

This is how DLC should be done. Give us as much as you can with the retail release then throw us some extra content if you want down the road.

I agree, rarely done this way, but it's good to see someone do it right.

It's going to be $9.99 supposedly. That's WAY too much IMO

I bet it's a better value than Bad Company 2's Onslaught and Vietnam add-ons. Those were $9.99 and $14.99. That's a complete joke. At least this will be some decent single player DLC.

If they have planned 2 expansions I wonder if they will release a goty or ultimate edition with all the content.

I hope because I want to get this game at some point and it would be really nice if it had everything included.

sweet!
have to wait till the last DLC is out though, have not finished the game yet so no point finishing that and the DLC then going back to finish the final piece.
might as well kill 3 birds with one stone.

awesome game, awesome pack, one of my favorite in 2010 along with Heavy Rain, GOW3, Dante's Inferno, WKC and Resonance of Fate. I have always been a huge fan of Castlevania series dated back to NES the very first one in 1986. Played literally all the episodes on NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, GBA and DS, and still want more of it.

great news!!!
