Channel Your Inner Director In The KZ3 Trailer Contest

Creative people have plenty of opportunities these days. For instance, create your own inFamous 2 mission or a slick new trailer for Killzone 3.

As announced at the Killzone blog, developer Guerrilla Games is holding a "Create Your Own Killzone 3 Trailer" video contest. It runs from March 18 through March 31: on the first day, you can download one of three sets of H.264-encoded KZ3 footage on Killzone.com. You'll have your choice of Jungle, Space, or Launch Trailer themes and once you've made your selection, it's time to start filming. Heck, maybe you'll want to mix and match all three settings. Be dramatic, be funny, be philosophical, be whatever; just create the best trailer possible. When complete, you can visit a special thread in the Killzone.com forums where you can post a short description of your video, and a link to the submission. The video can be hosted at YouTube, Vimeo, or another video sharing service.

So if you're a film editing buff and you think you've got what it takes, make sure to enter.

If I had the technical know how I would recreate a sniping theme trailer.

Shooting unsuspecting people from across the map is very satisfying and hillarious!!

I'm confident that I have the creative capabilities, but am lacking in the technical and free time resources.
I think I need some sort of helper monkey put all my ideas into tangible form for me... and maybe pay for the software as well.

Man, I wish I had the tech know-how, I'd love to do a whole theme of nothing but brutal melee's.

i think the trailer they showed us at the launch party was by far the best trailer!
was from bits they cut from the game tis why no one else has seen it.
shame, they should of kept them in there the games WAY too short!
for a MP game i could understand, but for the ps3s flagship shooter?
for the "halo killer"?
