Sucker Punch: LittleBigPlanet Success Influenced Us
Some may have been surprised to learn about the new creation/customization option in Sucker Punch's inFamous 2.
But if you thought another PlayStation 3 exclusive had a direct influence on the team, you'd be right. Development Director Chris Zimmerman told IGN that Media Molecule - responsible for the award-winning, innovative LittleBigPlanet - put the inFamous team on a different track.
"We were encouraged by the wild success of LittleBigPlanet... Even though it's a different genre and a completely different kind of game, it showed there was this thirst that people had for having this creation/sharing experience. We thought the same desires would be present for Infamous players, too."
Zimmerman went on to say he doesn't think such a concept is "right for all games," but obviously, there was room for it in inFamous 2. We think it's a pretty cool addition and adds some flavor and diversity to a relatively straightforward action experience.

Really? I only can remember these: Infamous 2, ModNation Racers, and Socom 4.
If you know more please add on. I think it's a good idea to have features of what LBP has to offer for other games. This way it keeps the game fresh and alive, and it adds tremendous amount of replay value to the game.

I just hope they don't make any trophies like some of the lbp ones. Have 100 people love your level and stuff like that. It can be difficult to get 100 people to even play your level, their are just so many out there.

WOW!!! I remember making a comparison between the create your own mission & little big planet in the "inFamous 2: Design Your Own Mission" thread & I got thumbed down for it... Well anyway I think it's a cool idea it definitely adds almost an unlimited amount of replayability to the game. I think the only thing that is missing is if us being able to customize cole however we wanted (Of course it really doesn't matter either way I'm just sayin).
