Plus Members Enter SOCOM 4 Beta, Agenda Released
The first week of the SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs beta test is in the books, and the developers have called it "incredibly helpful."
Just because it was invite-only doesn't mean they got limited feedback; "tens of thousands of posts" hit the beta forum loaded with opinions, feedback and general criticism. But now it's time to get even more people involved: as revealed at the PlayStation Blog, PlayStation Plus members will get a crack at the SOCOM 4 beta this week. Check out the agenda: they started with Suppression, Classic Suppression, Scrum (Custom), and Community Day Classic (Custom) on Tuesday, and they'll move along and test everything from Uplink to Last Defense to Bomb Squad. This will run through Monday and then maybe we'll get an update concerning public access...don't you want to gain access to this play test? SOCOM 4 is one of the most promising titles of the year, and one that might really benefit from PlayStation Move...
Do you plan on using Move for this game? Did you use the motion sensing for Killzone 3? We're just wondering if it has caught on...like back in the day of Duck Hunt.

So here's what I'm going to do...
Once the "Killzone-enclosed code beta" starts, I will then post my SOCOM-4 beta code randomly in one of that day's threads & the very first one to punch it in, wins it. "So Happy Tactical Shooting"
Just let me know who managed to get it

I have never played a socom game before, but I love strategy, I love tactics, I love a good high quality 3rd person shooter/action game.
So I have some decent hope for this game, especially with the move support. If the move controls are good, I'll be ordering that sharp shooter and a copy of this game sooner than I expected.

I will say though that I have that socom 4 beta update going and I understand what Excelsior1 is talking about now, they must be limiting the bandwidth, because I left it to download with nothing else going and it's been 1 hour and it's only 31% done.
I am only guessing at the why, but it is ridiculously slow, the only other time I've had such a slow download was when it was from some place that limited your download speed.

And using the Move is kind of fun. You can definitely tell the difference in the games that were designed from day one with the Move in mind, and the games that were just updated later to be Move compatible.

However, I find that the over-the-shoulder view gives me a headache after a while. I had the same nausea after playing Resident Evil 5, with its over-the-shoulder view as well.
Anyone else getthis?
