Resident Evil: Revival Selection: RE4, Code Veronica
You've probably seen the name floating around the Internet, even though we only have baseline information at this time.
Based on magazine leaks and a report at Andriasang, Capcom is working on a Resident Evil Revival Selection. Little is known but apparently, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will include two of the most popular titles in the long-running franchise: Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4. Both will be in "HD remastered form" and RE4 will also feature Ada Wong's "The Another Order" scenario; as for 3D or Move/Kinect support, we're not sure. We also have no idea when it might arrive, but this revival begs the question: might it be an indication of Resident Evil 6? Collections such as these often come to light when a new title from the same developer is nigh; the God of War Collection is one example, and we heard about the Tomb Raider Trilogy right around the time the reboot was fully revealed. Obviously, it's a tactic designed to drum up interest in the series.
So maybe this particular "Selection" will hit the spotlight only after - or just before - RE6 becomes known to the world. Just a thought.

I think this collection will follow trend with some new RE right behind it. I just want RE to return to its roots. Funny thing is..why didn't they do RE 1-3 remake in hd?

Capcom has spoken out saying that this collection, the 3DS games and some other RE related products were to be considered part of the celebration. They will also release some collector's items (mostly in Japan)
I mean, it's not like Nintendo has a monopoly on celebrating a franchise's anniversary.

I bought a gamecube just for R4 and it remains one of the best gaming experiences i've ever had.
Now that Mikami has gone and the 1st without him, 5, was not that good, i'm worried for it.
Oh btw, Europe gets RE1: Directors Cut on PSN! Yay!
Yakuza Of The End plays like a classic Resi! Cant wait to get that!

the original RE is still by far the best RE game ever released, and one of the best horror games ever released!
this means a DMC HD collection is almost confirmed, cant wait to play through that kick a$$ opening cut scene from DMC3 again!
speaking of DMC, whats happened to the reboot?
have not heard boo from it since NT revealed it, and the sh*t hit the fan!
hopefully they have revised it and brang dante back the way we want and know him!
id love to see a HD collection of the suffering, or even better a new ps3 version!
one of the goriest, most f*cked up twisted what the hell goriest most sadistic games ive ever played!
think manhunt was perverse, that aint got sh*t on the suffering!

I have them both on PS2 disc anyway so i'm not that fussed but a HD version of RE4 may be worth it. I hated how our PS2 port had the visuals really soft in comparison to the gamecube version.
