Rumor: Sony Will Finally Reveal Agent Gameplay At E3
Yeah, we know. You're annoyed because after Agent was revealed at E3 2009, the game just sort of disappeared.
We didn't hear about it at last year's E3 and this PlayStation 3 exclusive has remained under wraps for a very long time. But interestingly enough, there's a big rumor floating around now, which claims Sony will not only bring Agent to E3 2010, but it'll also show two minutes of pure "jaw-dropping" gameplay footage. Apparently, the tipster also said we'd get the first official details of the game, along with an estimated release date that falls into 2012. Right now, little is known about the promising game; the concept is great and could result in an innovative, engaging title. All we know is that it's being developed by Rockstar and features a "dark, undercover spy world" set in the late '70s. As soon as that information started to fly about nearly two years ago, both developer and publisher went mute on the subject. We wouldn't be surprised if the game was announced as a multiplatform title, either.
That tends to happen. The longer we wait for an unveiling, the less likely the project will retain its exclusivity...or so it seems. Remember Quantum Theory? It turned out badly, but that was initially a PS3 exclusive, too. And of course, there's FFXIII...
