Playable Demo For Tekken 6 Coming Soon?
Tekken PS3You may have noticed our Virtua Fighter 5 review earlier today, so as more news for you fighting fans, it appears that Tekken 6 may appear in playable form before "the weather gets hot." No, those aren't our words.
The upcoming PS3 title surprised many by popping up at the AOU arcade expo in Japan a couple weeks ago, but Bandai Namco never told us exactly when we could expect the final version. Everyone under the sun has guessed, speculated, and predicted till they're blue in the face, but none of it means anything without an official announcement. Therefore, we're excited to learn that a major website has somehow got their greedy hands on the next issue of Arcadia magazine, which boasts an interview with the Tekken 6 development team. According to their statements, they plan to test out their latest incarnation "before the weather gets hot."
Of course, we don't know what their definition of "hot" is, but we can venture a guess...and this time, that guess is actually by supported by real information. For now, we'd like to think we'll see a Tekken 6 playable demo by the end of April or early May. Sweet!
