PS3 News: Conan Muscles Onto PS3, Xbox 360

Conan Muscles Onto PS3, Xbox 360

In 1982, we were introduced to Robert E. Howard's massive mountain of a man called Conan. Since then, the fantasy character has been a major part of pop culture, appearing in all kinds of spin-offs, even in the video game world. It continues today, as the Cimmerean warrior is ready to appear in a Funcom-developed MMORPG for the PC and Xbox 360, Age of Conan: Hyborian, and it doesn't end there.

THQ has announced plans to bring an action/adventure game to the PS3 and 360; a game they say features "epic brutality" and "visceral combat." Simply titled Conan, Nihilistic Software - responsible for the likes of Vampire: The Masquerade - is at the helm for this one, and they're preparing to include numerous weapons and fighting styles.

There is a very tentative release window scheduled for early 2008, but hopefully, we'll hear a lot more about Conan as 2007 rolls on.
