Games aren't available for just one day. I'm picking this up for the mission editor, but another time. Yeah, i'm going for Duke, but i got Infamous a full year after release. Didn't enjoy it much, if you want me to go into details, it was the repetitive missions and nature of the gameplay mostly, but i didn't get into the comic book story or the awful cheesy voice of Cole and his cringe worthy one liners to top. It was just ok to me, completely see why it would get a following though! Much better than that Prototype.

This looks better. Better graphics. More abilities is a huge plus. I'll see.

But that mission editor just looks cool.

I didn't get the first inFamous until it was out for a while. That is a mistake that will not be made again. I'm excited about playing the game, and messing around with the editor. Should be a blast!

I actually bought it the the second week and thought it was meh...then played it again and thought it was very good, not great, but the ending made the overall game better than it actually was.

Does anyone know if it was confirmed to have 3D support? I dont want to assume, but....Kilzone 3, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3,and Gran Tursimo 5.....

What is your overall view on Killzone in 3D?...I have my reservations, but want to confirm a few things with someone who actually plays it in 3D

Ha, I'm here now. Killzone 3 in 3D is pretty sweet. It certainly pops out more than GT5. I had a lot of fun playing it in 3D though it does take a bit of a hit. There is a bit of pop in while playing in 3D. The game seems to perform better over all in 2D but there's no game breaking issues while playing in 3D. I think it could have been better but I still liked it and I am happy I got a 3D tv. It most certianly plays and looks better than Crysis 2 in 3D. Now judging from the 3D trailer for Uncharted 3, that one looks like it's going to be too good to be true. It looks fantastic. I also played the Socom 4 beta in 3D. That one looks great as well. Zipper also confirmed it would be running at full resolution and full frame rate in 3D.

Yeah Im not trippin on the resolution hit so much as the slight hazzy look. Maybe its my tv or my glasses causing a slight ghost effect, but IMO I think it looks a bit better with the 3d strength turn down some and not at 100%.

I saw that Uncharted 3 trailer last...WOW! Same for the Motorstorm game. And I also played Socom 4 in 3D....actually looks better than Killzone IMHO!

If you havent yet, check out Stadust HD too (I like to die in that one, just for the effects ;P)

Yea it does look a bit better with the depth turned down a bit. I found it to be great at around 80%. And I have checked out Super Stardust HD. I got it for free with a voucher code that came with my Bravia. It looks fantastic. Looks a lot better than most of the 3D games out right now. Like the game was made for 3D.

Ben had to find it on youtube, when I tried to play it on here it said this video is private.

Anyway, video was awesome, I can't wait to get this and play for hours on end. I think it's awesome they added so much to the game, but lightning will still be my primary weapon. Has always been my favorite form of frying people.

HOLY FRICK! That is absolutely stunning! Seriously... my jaw dropped halfway through the video and didn't want to close. Read a preview feature yesterday about how there are now over 50 different powers, which can be mapped in anyway you like, but isn't a complicated mess to set up. I was like... how are they going to incorporate THAT much? Then I saw this trailer...

Oh my goodness. inFamous was a D1P for me... and iF2 just became a preorder. This is going to be unreal. Can Sucker Punch do wrong? Better yet, can they top Uncharted? I'm starting to think that even that is possible.

FM23, you have no idea how much I enjoyed the first game. It's the only game, besides the Uncharted series, that I've played start to finish twice in a row. And considering the game is easily 25 hours on a single playthrough, that's saying something. Moreover, until Sly 1 last week, it was the only game that I had Platinumed. I may be too excited, but it's better than not being excited enough, IMO.

if i only bought infamous 2 and uncharted 3 for the rest of the year i would be ok with that. this game looks amazing. its just gonna blow away the first one and i loved the first one. that video showed so many cool things i cant wait to play this game. just amazing.

Glad he doesn't sounds like a stereotypical college drunk anymore, but I hope the game comes up with a solid reason why he has these new elemental powers. If anything, I hope they explain why he became the way he is eventually because when you think about it, Infamous 1 never really explains why he has these power, they just show how he got them. Anyway, hope the story is stronger in this one because great gameplay can only hold my attention for so long. Just ask KZ3's single player how I feel about this issue...lol

I've got a feeling there won't be much left of the city when I finish with the game. The temptation to unleash some major destruction will be too great. Seeing Cole levitate a car he was standing on in a previous video, and then hurling it from beneath his feet at the enemy was just too cool. I'm looking forward to the summer.

Insomniac? You mean Sucker Punch, and Cole looks this way because of his powers. In InFamous 1 he fights a girl named Sasha, and she explains that her powers have morphed her appearance, which is happening to Cole. Its why he looks younger

Definite buy here too. Beat the first as a Hero, then put it down to play Red Dead Redemption. Now that I've finished that it's time to go through again on the dark side to nab that platinum and show the reapers what being Infamous really means.

What a hell of a sequel this is turning out to be. There's so many new additions that look freaking awesome, without distorting the original gameplay. I don't even know how they're going to fit all these powers on all the buttons on the controller, I just know that they'll find a way because SP is just plain awesome.

I just can't wait for that Hero Edition to arrive. June 7 is too far away!

The trailer looks bad-ass & I like Cole's voice, but I'm still not too impressed with the NEW Cole look.

And I'm not sure about the Ice weapon, right now it looks like it will be almost "too easy" to destroy everything & everyone over a great distance without much resistance.

This is the next game I am adding to my collection. I expected inFamous to be good, but it totally blew my expectations out of the water. It got better as it went on while still expressing significant flaws. In that regard, it reminded me of "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune". We all know that happened with Uncharted 2. I fully expect the same leap in quality with inFamous 2.

im sorry, but if this does not excite you theres something seriously wrong with ya!
only problem is i got 3 days to finish RF Armageddon, then one day to finish this because DNF releases 1 day after this.
god, why cant publishers spread there games out?
i might be going to VIC for 6 weeks on the 15th too so like it or not i have to have all 3 finished in 9 days!
im going to miss out on E3 too!
