Disgaea 4 Stateside In September, "Dis-name-a Contest"

It has been a must-buy ever since the original gripped the hardcore strategy/RPG fans back in the PS2 era.

And now, NIS America has announced that Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten will release in the U.S. in September (European gamers have a less defined "fall" date). Plus, the fans can participate in the Dis-name-a" Contest where they can submit entries for a chance at naming an in-game weapon, special skill, and an actual game character. Click the previous link and rack your brains for three separate names (item, skill, NPC). Be creative; be imaginative, and bear in mind that the NPC just might be scantily clad... They will select three winners and those three will get their ideas into the game, along with their own names in the credits. There's a list of "nameable" objects on the next page beyond the contest outline, and there's an entry form; they will accept submissions for three weeks- April 7 - April 21. We've seen developers do a lot of contests that allow for the winner to be involved in the game in some capacity, and we say- cool.

Anyway, if you're a strat/RPG buff, we assume you've just marked off September as "Disgaea 4 time." Nothing wrong with that.
