Party mode sounds fun, doesn't it?

Codemasters has revealed the three multiplayer modes in DiRT 3 that will allow you and some friends to "party:" the first is Invasion, when you and your buddies will attempt to defend earth from invading robots. ...no, it's not a joke. But then again, those robots are only cardboard cutouts you have to hit with your car, all the while trying to avoid cardboard skyscrapers. Weird, but entertaining. Then there's Transporter, which is essentially vehicular Capture the Flag, only that the position of the flag is random on any given map. Lastly, we get Outbreak, where one of the participants will be stricken with something nasty that turns their car green within 5 seconds of the start of the match. This infected car can infect others by running into them and the last healthy car wins.

This has always been a top-notch racing franchise and we expect nothing but greatness from the third installment. They got all inventive with these party modes, didn't they?
