Homefront PS3 Patch Is Nigh
Homefront isn't a bad game at all, but it does have some multiplayer issues that require attention.
Kaos Studios has been working on a patch and it appears that patch is almost ready to go, at least insofar as the PlayStation 3 version is concerned. If you check the game's official site, there has been a progress update and that necessary patch could be just around the corner. It just needs to be approved by Sony; once it is, the fans will get their fixes. Many Homefront PS3 players have complained of online multiplayer crashes and disconnections, along with a host of other problems that hinder an otherwise entertaining experience. While you wait, maybe you should just play through the campaign again...it won't take long, and it doesn't suffer from such annoying issues. Besides, it's one of the more emotionally-charged campaigns you'll ever play.
And by the way, THQ has been dropping hints concerning a sequel, so stay tuned for any news on that score.

I know a lot of devs go on holiday after a long project.. but seriously, if theres a fundamental problem with your product you MUST fix it ASAP.
this fix wasn't ASAP, it was WTCBB (when they could be bothered) ..lol.

Look at you now, I guess Homefront selling more then 1 million copies in two weeks and sending almost 3 million to the retail stores make this game "suddenly better".
Single player sucks, but online experience is great since day one...but that's what I wrote 3 weeks ago, right ?

Games that come out of the box that don't work need fixing asap not weeks/months later.

too little too late.
developers need to learn how to debug there games BEFORE they release them!
especially bethesda, i really want to play fallout new vegas but refuse to put up with all the bugs.
was really funny i remember getting upto the bit where you have to enter the strip, i did the mission to get a invitation for it but when i went to collect it instead of the guy giving it to me he blew my head off!
so i killed him, then his brother was sitting on his chair like a stunned mullet, i spoke to him, bought a few things off him then exited.
then re entered the room and now the guy i bought a few things off was shooting me.
talk about a delayed reaction!
so i killed him, left the room and fell through the floor into a infinite black.
took the game back, and have not touched it since!
when developers learn how to debug there games then ill buy them!
always said internet access was the worst thing added to todays consoles!
back in the day you had to make sure you properly polished your game because there were no patches.
these days its aaaaaaawwwwwwww f*ck it!
if enough people complain will patch it.

I am planning on getting homefront at some point and it's nice to know that when I do it'll work right.
