Mortal Kombat Fatalities: Brutal As Brutal Can Be
Square, X, Square X, Circle, Circle, Triangle. If you're wondering, that was Kung Lao's 7-hit combo in the Mortal Kombat Trilogy. I remember it because I remember urging my fingers to go faster so the damn combo would register.
Even those of us who don't list the fighting genre as one of their favorites has likely spent some time with the MK series. It's just part of being a gamer, isn't it? And in the upcoming reboot, you should probably be aware of all the unlockables and purchase-ables: check out the full list, and then watch the first part of a video that showcases a ton of Fatalities:
That's just...insane. And it's only part 1 of 2. But here's a question: according to the source, you can perform the Fatalities without buying them if you know the correct combo. ...so, does that mean we don't have to hit any special combo in a very short span of time if we purchase the Fatality? Does it just happen? Otherwise, what's the point of buying it?
Just wondering.

Being able to find them is for those hard core old school MK players who don't want to have anything handed to them.
I think it's a smart move, that way both groups can be satisfied.

it was kinda, well, tame!
ok, maybe tame is not the best way to describe impaling a sword through someones stomach then ripping it out there head effectively slicing them in half!
but, well, for kratos standards it kinda is.
i mean wheres the head ripping, eye poking, arm ripping, face smashing, arm leg tearing, eye ripping, bone crushing, brutality were use to?
GOW3 had better finishers then this!
i can understand not wanting for him to overshadow the other characters, but this is kratos is that not the point?
you cant have a ferrari but slowing it down because its too fast for the competition.
if your going to do it, you go all out!
not half a$$ed!
oh well, hopefully his other fatality, and stage fatalities are better!

I don't want to wash them all yet though, it spoils the surprise when I do get to see them in game.
As far as buying the fatalities, I'd rather learn the combo for them. That's what the whole point of fatalities! You entered an awesome combo and bam! Not easy mode crap where you buy them and see them.
