SHIFT 2 DLC Features Legends From Racing History

More cars and more tracks; it's what every racer wants.

EA has announced details for the Legend DLC pack for SHIFT 2: Unleashed. Coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 26, this extra content will feature no less than 14 new cars and 5 racetracks from the 1960s and 70s.

You can see the full list through the link, but the assortment includes highlights such as the BMW 3.0 CSL Gr. 5 (1975), Ford GT40 Mk.I (1965), Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 (1974), Shelby Cobra "Daytona" Coupe (1965), and the Team Need for Speed Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0. The new tracks stretch all the way back to 1952 (Rouen-Les-Essarts Short), so this pack is definitely very...historical. It'll cost $9.99 on the PSN and 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live so if you're interested in adding to the SHIFT 2 experience, go for it.

The legendary cars are often fun to drive, even if they're sometimes a little tough to control. They didn't have all sorts of fancy electronic-based assistance in those days.

Maybe they should have fixed the driving before worrying about giving people more cars t drive.

Aye, totally - I don't mind early DLC, but early DLC before they even announce that they'll be fixing the input lag and horrible handling? I traded my boat-racing game a couple of weeks ago now, it just played too hard to love. Shame as, other than the actual driving, the game was pretty good.

Something tells me they could've had most of those 5 tracks and 14 cars, if not all, at the day of release, INCLUDED with the game. It's only been a month? No way I'm paying 10 bucks for this.

Really love this game, but, come on with this DLC so early. At least, let me live in ignorant bliss and believe I bought a complete game for at least three months.

Is it the game that good...? apparently the driving dynamic was just horrible this time around, but the head cam was awesome...

I only played with the Dualshock 3, so I can only speak for controlling with that and not with a wheel, but I haven't had any issues. It's tough and sometimes a bit unforgiving, but I never feel it's cheap. I enjoy it more than the first. The reward system is better. And, yeah, the head cam is amazing.

Qubex - The driving is way off. The rest of the game is well done (minus the AI), but I couldn't get over the driving no matter what my settings were.

If they would have kept the driving physics from the first one, I would still have the game.

one thing i've despised this gen is short games spammed with early dlc. shift 2 wasn't released that long ago so you know this content was held back, and should have been in the game. ea is bad about this sort of thing, and it just rubs me the wrong way.

It sucks that EA has the couple of games that I enjoy that are not published by Sony. Madden and NFS, but lately, THEY SUCKS! EA needs to wake up! Give us what we want!!!

Well I returned this game already (1 week after purchasing it), so I won't get experience the tacky experience known as "SHIFT 2:the held back DLC". Shift 2 sucks big time, but the racing is more exciting then GT5. Besides that, the handling and hardcore 'I'll rape your mom" A.I. keeps it from being enjoyable.

they could not pay me to waste my time on this crap!
i had such high expectations after all the sh*t they were talking about GT5, and it completley flopped!
these people need to learn not to write checks with their mouths that their games cant cash!
i loved the original, was soooooooo much fun!
this i would not touch with a 2M buck briefcase and a 10 foot pole!
