Lightbox "Can't Wait" To Talk About Upcoming Project
Yes, you have been silent for too long. We definitely agree.
After Dylan Jobe created Lightbox Interactive, everyone figured his team would be working on the spiritual successor to Jobe's previous title, Warhawk. But while the assumption is widespread, nothing has been officially confirmed and long-time Warhawk fans are getting antsy. Thankfully, we might be nearing an unveiling, as Jobe himself is antsy: if you check his Twitter page, he addresses the issue in two separate Tweets:
"Been running in silent mode for too long. This is killing me. I can't wait to be able to talk about it."
"Thank you all for your patience. Really! I want nothing more than to show off the new game to our fans!"
So, is it Starhawk or what? Can't we even get a hint? By the way, if you never got a chance to play Incognito's excellent online action game (and few did, as it released back in summer of 2007 when the PlayStation 3 wasn't exactly popular), you might want to give it a try. Sure, it's a little old, but it's still fun.

It is just so much fun to fly around in a Warhawk! It was neat that they added the sixaxis controls, but in reality it was just too hard to steer with the controller. But dogfights in that game are unreal.
They did alot early on in the life of this system and I can't wait to see what's next.

anyways, i'm still very interested in starhawk becuase we really don't have a good space shooter on the ps3. you know, something along the line of star wars star fighter. i hope this a full budget boxed release game like warhawk was.

Big epic 60 player space battles & yeah i am a sucker for lazers in space as well but i think it should keep some of its warhawk roots.
I wonder if this is exclusive cause if its not then it will be 24 player max which is lame.

My moment of glory was when i singlehandedly captured a base with about 5 guys on me constantly respawning & trying to kill me,i just laid down medi-mines & kept throwing grenades while running(sometimes backwards while firing)from health pack to medi-mines,eventually i captured the based and then landmined the crap out of the ways in,tooled up & manned the samsite untill my team realised that we had a base in their half of the map and started spawning from there, didn't die once that battle :)
Then people got really good at dumb firing tomahawk missiles & jetting off....dead before you knew what happened.
Cant remember why i stopped playing, maybe mgo started up!
Warhawk in space sounds pretty sweet,
Starhawk me!!

A new WarHawk would be most welcome, as long as it still supports 4 player split screen!
I have flesh & blood friends and love hosting LAN parties, but not enough TV's and PS3's for everyone to "solo" it!

Rocket launchers, flame throwers, air warfare, tanks, it was all you could ask from a TRUE war game.
I hope Starhawk let's us specialize in a particular role rather than making air warfare the main focus. In Warhawk that was my only problem, if one side had all the hawks up the other team had no chance of making a comeback.
Can't wait to see what it will be like, space battles? Could be interesting.

If they give us a story mode to it, I'll most certainly pick it up!
If it's strictly a MMO like war hawk then no thanks!
I got enough prepubescent brats yelling at me at tafe thank you very much!
Very first thing I do when hopping into a online game is muting everyone's microphones.
Amazing how many 10 year olds that some how convince their parents to buy them 15+ games!
Sony should make a new rule, no one under the age of 20 allowed to play games online
