F.E.A.R. 3 Story Arc Trailer Released
If you look at F.E.A.R. 3 and say, "eh, just another shooter," you're making a mistake.
While this series has always utilized the popular first-person shooter mechanic, the titles are story-driven and downright creepy. It's the combination of the atmosphere, plot and characters that keeps us playing, and apparently, that goes double for the upcoming F.E.A.R. 3. Plus, if you're interested in how this new entry ties in with past installments, you gotta watch the new Story Arc trailer:
Scheduled to arrive on May 24, this one ought to be well worth your attention. Featuring the talents of horror guru John Carpenter and some impressive visuals and action, F.E.A.R. 3 has a ton of potential.

Oh yeah cant wait for this one....Loved the first (and expansions on the PC), the 2nd was cool but they put more action and less true scare in there. I have a feeling 3 will bring it back to its roots. Heres to F.E.A.R. 3!

You are as mistaken as mistaken can get. This is horribly worse. Not just bad, it is f'n bad. You are right that people don't like change but this is far from a good change. When you make it to where people cannot view comments or even post them, how in the he** is that a good thing and how could this be considered better? Try viewing these pages from a smartphone now and see just how 'better' this sukbar is.

I'm not mistaken..It's my opinion and what I think. Just because some don't like the new lay out doesn't mean it's bad. They didn't make it so that you can't view comments or post to them. I have no problem doing so and apparently you don't either as were able to click the Reply button and respond to my post.
Um..maybe you should be viewing the mobile site if you have that much of a issue with it from your smart phone. Just sayin..It really isn't as bad as people make it to be.

Thank you for adding the scroll disable button, much obliged!
But 1 quick question for you....
What exactly does that other "auto on/off" toggle button do?
I tried that one too, but really didn't notice anything happening/changing when I did so.
Frylock, I just clicked on the words "toggle scrolling" itself, & now the scroll bar is gone.

I agree with Excelsiors plea though....I love this site and believe that the community and the comments are a very positive aspect of this site that keeps me coming back. If viewing from a mobile device takes 1/2 the fun out then it's gonna make life difficult.....
First the PSN goes down and now this!?!?!? Nostradamus was right! The world is coming to an end!!!

It's no fun no having to scroll down, then having to scroll the far outer bar down some, & then having to return to the new scroll bar again to get somewhat lower in the comments.
And if the thread happens to have a massive amount of comments, then we're going to have to keep on rinse & repeating every 10-15 comments or so.
Also now the site has even chopped out a bunch of comments in some of those longer commented threads too.
ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While scrolling down a LONG list of comments is tedious on a phone, I prefer it to the new scroll bar.
...couldn't ffigure out how to scroll them on my phone with the new bar. So, I turned it off.
Never played a fear game though. May have to give this a look-see.
Off topic, heavy rain is sav. But I accidentally blasted that religous dude in the noggin without talking to him first.
.... I didn't know what r1 would do....

Anyways, back on topic, I'll be renting this one. FEAR 1 was a really good PC game, but a bad PS3 port. The 2nd one was a lot better of a port, but it wasn't as good as the first one. I'm hoping they can make a better game than last time this time.

F.E.A.R 2 = resident evil 5!
F.E.A.R 3 =?
well, 50 bucks says half way between 1 and 2.
it looks better then 2, but it looks just as action oriented.
come on, what happened to the F.E.A.R that had me cowering in the closet?
i remember the part of F.E.A.R where your in the meternity ward and you can hear a baby crying, then all of a sudden the lights flicker, the room fills with blood and alma starts walking towards ya.
that scene was not exactly scary, but it just sticks with you forever because its so creepy!
it had pleanty of scare moments too, i spilt my fair share of coffee playing F.E.A.R!
F.E.A.R 2 on the other hand could not scare me if its life depended on it!
please WB take this back to the phsycological horror side the game use to be, and not your average typical shooter!
i wonder what monolith are working on since there not doing this.
i hope its condemned 3, 2 was one of my all time favorite games!
soooooooo creepy!
i hope they add more puzzle solving and detective work, 2 did not have much, you could examine evidence but you really could not do much with it.
its like batman AA, it has puzzles and detective work, but no where near enough, and not deep enough.

F.E.A.R. 3
